I really don’t think McCain had much to do with the decision making. At least as far as picking Palin is concerned. He’s totally sold himself out in hopes of getting elected. Fortunately, it backfired in his face.

Yep!Eight years ago,I voted for McCain and supported him as well!
I even was supporting him in this election until he sold his soul to the devil-aka Karl Rove-and the whole Christian Right!!
Now where the hell are the true Republicans like the late Barry Goldwater??
