Just because the cost of a barrel of oil drops by half, don’t expect the cost of a gallon of gas to do the same.

Funny how this seems to happen every election year. I expect the price to start climbing by mid Nov. again. Maybe I’m just paranoid…

Absolutely right. Last time oil was that cheap, the only thing keeping gas prices so low were the tax breaks to the oil companies. Don’t expect to be so fortunate this time.

this is a beaute…’Last time oil was that cheap, the only thing keeping gas prices so low were the tax breaks to the oil companies.’
the most ridiculous statement written in a serious tone I’ve read this week. That’s like thinking the guy with the gun wouldn’t have taken your wallet and your credit cards if you had given him half the $100 you keep hidden in your sock.
Peace

Their plan has worked to perfection. Pump up the price of oil for a while, then return it to whence it came and the ‘marks’ will think that’s cheap.
