Biden is talking too fast. But his pointing out that McCain’s health care plan substitutes a $12,000 employer plan with a $5,000 tax credit is a strong argument.

You notice that before the debate she asked him “may I call you Joe?”, thus facilitating her later folksy platitude: “say it ain’t so, Joe”. She must have really thought that one was a knee slapper, huh?
