Holy balls, talk about bad taste.

Aside from the fact that the band sucked, isn’t this supposed to be the party of high moral values and family integrity?

I mean, really, who the hell hires a band called “Hookers and Blow” for anything related to politics? Didn’t the GOP learn anything about public perception during the Rove years?

Nothing makes you feel worse in the morning than hookers and blow. But hey, its only money, right?

Those lobbyist parties aren’t all they appear to be. Sure, lawmakers got a free pig roast from the oil industry. But what the report doesn’t mention is that the pig was roasted over a barrel of burning crude. And you don’t even WANT to know what was in the drinks paid for by the chemical industry.

I noticed in the clip the reggae band was playing “Three Little Birds” by the Wailers for the Republicans from the CA delegation.

That thudding sound you hear is Bob Marley and his guitar rolling over in his grave.

Awesome, the GOP is in full self destruct mode. They must be pretty confident that they have the next election in the bag and don’t really have to be careful of appearances. They don’t need the kid from heroe’s, they have Diebold and that is just as good. Rock on!!

Are we supposed to be suprised? The lobbyests were just as active at the DNC, and the police actually arrested a press photographer for taking pictures of one of the partys from a public street. At least ABC didn’t get beat up and arrested.
