Palin: ‘What is it exactly that the VP does every day?’

8/29/08, 3:22 pm EST

I think the better question is what the Governor of Alaska does on the 275 days a year the Alaska legislature is not in session.

What happened to the blog? It’s completely unreadable and out of control. Strike 349 for R.S. I used to really like blogging here. Now it just pisses me off. Peace. I’m out!

In the McCain administration, the VP tivos his Matlock and mushes up his corn for him.

Mario Kart | 8/29/2008, 6:25 pm EST

The VP sues the ppl’s gov’t to kill polar bears because they get in the way of oil drilling.
C’mon, get with the program.

I’m John McCain & I don’t know what I approve anymore

TPG | 8/29/2008, 6:26 pm EST

What does she do?

With five kids…and an obvious aversion to birth control…I would guess spread her legs.

Bryan Cramer | 8/29/2008, 7:20 pm EST

What do her kids have to do with this? All 5 are by her and her husband, all born in wedlock. I didn’t realize raising a family made a person incapable of running a goverment.

Anonymous | 8/29/2008, 10:24 pm EST

So now having 5 babies makes you qualified to “run a government”? Only a Right wing whacko would spew that crap.
What we have here my friends, is an adult version of the ‘other’ beauty queen – remember the one who thought “The Iraqis and other such peoples could use some maps”…

A governor for three months a year, in a well off state, whose main income and industry is 85% oil and gas, no income tax, no real job loss experience, but a serious shortage of Doctors and extremem poverty and health problems among the Native Americans- and what does this public servant first choose to fight for?? A decrease in their already minimal property taxes.

Like McCain there are also two Palin’s floppin on deck: the Palin who doesn’t think climate change has endangered the polar bears or anything else for that matter- but is upset at the damages her own right wing Supreme Court choices stripped from Alaska’s citizens because her state needed the money for…what ?? In her own words from a 2-24-08 interview with c-span- “to mitigate the erosion and other destruction caused by global warming”.
And then the Palin who believes in federalism -but is angry at the Medicaid cuts because it impedes the training for new doctors money. And wants those federal dollars while hoarding her own state surpluses.
But the worst of Palin’s anti-pork propaganda is her claim she said “no thank you” for the money from the brige.

She plain lying about that. Her state got those federal dollars you and I paid for that damn bridge. She not only kept our money -but turned around and gave it to her own citizens, as a Republican token of pure crony bullsh** politics.

One last point – what other gun totin, ethically challenged, oil guzzling Republican V.P. does she remind you of??

We not only have another older and nastier Bush replica waiting to continue on, we’ve got another Dick Cheny incarnate- in a skirt.
Tim, only in America could a right wing government get savaged by it’s own Supreme court appointments. The Alaskan people had a huge stake in the outcome of the Exxon spill

Bloody Well Left | 8/30/2008, 2:51 am EST

I second that emotion!

DirtyDennis | 8/30/2008, 8:43 am EST

C’mon TD, cease with the Limbaughisms, okay. You know the exec has NOTHING to do with the leg. You’re just trying to be cute. Put DOWN that comb and step back from the mirror.

Palin has enough issues without drawing sympathy via false claims. But look at you, you’re talking about HER and NOT Johnny Boy. Point and game to the Right.

Oh, Tim, didn’t see the addendum that you’re working on the ‘problem’ of busy pipeline. Sorry for earlier carping.

it’s a shame Rolling Stone continues to appeal to the lowest common denominator. People can be right wing and still be into good music, ya know. Palin is great and represents a serious blow to the left. It’s pretty obvious when you have to take something out of context in order to try to make a “point” – she was making a joke and downplaying the fact that she was being seriously considered for the position. I guess it was lost on the Obama-supporting ROLLING STONE.

Delta"I Think Palin is HOT"Wil | 8/31/2008, 7:50 am EST

Alright, Voting for John McCain because I think Sarah Palin is H.O.T. might be a little shallow, I’ll agree, but no more shallow than Senator Obama’s supporters voting for him because he’s a black man,, ah,, Half Black,,,,,, A Half Black Man who was raised by his White Grandparents in a mid-western “Leave it to Beaver” town, who got re-located to the slums of paradise,,, Hawaii,,, wait a minute,,,
We’re not talking about the Jefferson’s here, Nobody has done ” Moved On Up “.
While I respect the accomplishments of Senator Obama, I have more in common with the African American Experience than he does, while I’ve never owned slaves, I am a descendent of the deacon who stood up to slavery in the Methodist Church and declared it to be Un-Godly!!
I would think that my heritage would have more in common with the Plight of the descendents of black slaves than the heritage of one who’s not a descendent of slaves.
Oh, But he’s Black,, or Half Black,, So that means he’s knows…
But then we would be judging someone by the color of their skin and not by the content of their character, and that would be against everything the Civil Rights Movement has stood for for the last 60 years.
I suppose it’s alright to go against all that is holy to Civil Rights and the memory of the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement who have fallen, as long as it’s a Democrat Candidate who is doing it.
But I digress…..

Back to the Topic.
I shall vote for Senator McCain because of the HOTness factor of Sarah Palin,,,
Who am I fooling,, skrew John McCain, I’m voting for Sarah Palin because she’s not only HOT, but she’s also a Washington outsider, a Hunter, a Fisher, a Executive of State, a small business owner who’s had to balance a check book, and someone who has put her money where her mouth is, when it comes to Walking the Walk after she’s Talked the Talk..
Yep Democrats, Those boots were made for walking, and that’s just what she’ll do, one of these days those woman’s votes are going to walk all over you.
After the way you Democrats handled Hillary Clinton, You deserve what’s about to happen.

No, Mr. Dean, the Women of America don’t want to stay bare foot and pregnant.
The Women of America don’t intend to stay in the kitchen with their legs open and their mouth shut!!
Mr. Dean and the leadership of the Democrat Party,,, Witness the Power of the American Woman!!

Oh, and I’ll support them every inch of the way.
Not only because it’s right,, not only because she’s paid the cost to be the boss, but because Governor Palin is HOT.
And if your HOT after having 5 kids,,
I don’t know many men who could hold a candle to you and your determination!!

Wild Thingie,

My, you caught one flush there. A deep drive into the cheap seats in left.

Everyone screams and hollers about ‘the culture of Washington (DC)’ but boy, try and do something about it and you’re roasted.

I have no doubt this is 90% a measure of desperation for Johnny Boy but forget that. Is Palin not what the whiners and complainers (myself included) have cried for lo these many years? She is.

I am disappointed with my brethern of the Left that are critical of her. Constitutionally, she meets every criteria and has every right to be VP. This is America. This is the land of dreams. Culturally, she is embodiment of every Mother’s hope. Hooray for McCain!! Hooray for Palin.

Now, you know of course, I can NOT vote for the Right.

Delta Wild Man | 8/31/2008, 10:37 am EST

DD

She’s HOT!!
When was the last time we could say that about any Vice Presidential or Presidential Candidate?
It could be one of those depraved fetishes that has laid dormant within my subconsciousness over the years.
It could be a domination fetish, I don’t know..
But she’s hot, you remember Catwoman from the 1960 Batman TV series, that’s the type of HOT I’m talking about.
And Look, I’m saying this about a woman who’s had 5 kids!!

I’m married, been married for 23 years, Sarah and my wife are the same age, but we’ve only had one child, and may I say, Sarah knows how to take care of the junk in the trunk.
That in a nutshell is what impresses me.
The 44 year old woman did not set around and turn into a blob of goo after having 5 children.
That says something,, she can commit to something, she’s not a quitter, she has the ability to care about her appearance.
How would that quality translate in the executive branch of our government?
Margaret Thatcher was a woman who kept an eye on her figure.
A little before my time, but she was not a “Fat” woman.

DD, I don’t think she’s a RIGHT or LEFT as one would think.
Do a little research on her, she’s made a lot of the Republicans in Alaska mad at her, put a few in jail.
Uncle Sam, Meet Aunt Sarah!!

DirtyDennis | 8/31/2008, 11:56 am EST

Wild Thingie,

Sometime, after a brew or two, I’ll tell you about all the fantasies I’ve had for Roslyn, Nancy and even Hil. At least Hil prior to her discovering Pants Suits.

The young lass is everything you say she is. Unfortunately, she’s on the ‘other side.’ I couldn’t vote for Abe Lincoln if he were on the ‘other side.’ It’s not about the person, it’s about the political appointees that come with the territory.

There ARE good Republicans out there, but they are too few to do any good.

Meanwhile, all this BS about ‘experience’ is just that. No one has ‘experience’ to be Prez. Lincoln? Get real. Kennedy? Nope.

I fear that if the Left doesn’t snap out of it’s pre-victory celebrations, we’ll get to see more of the beautiful and desireable Ms Palin.

nutkickedsoprano | 9/3/2008, 2:09 pm EST

wow! that’s one hot governor.

would that make her a GILF? :)
