Leave it to the Republicans to nominate a woman that’s about to be under indictment.

This is no scandal. The man was beating his wife and tasering his 11 year old son. This dog won’t hunt. There’s more important things to attack her on. Like being anti-choice and anti-gay.

McCaine just handed the election to Barack Obama.

Anonymous | 8/29/2008, 9:16 pm EST

Absoulutely, maybe she’ll bite and ear off!!! This will give to OBAMA! Thanks MCCAN, knew you were good for something!!!

With the choice of Palin, McCurmudgeon just showed that his slogan of “country first” is completely bogus, the accurate one would be “ambition first.”

And does he REALLY think such an utterly obvious and transparent attempt to get Hillary voters will actually work??? I’ve seen comments by supposed disgruntled Hillary voters who say they will now vote for McCurmudgeon, if that’s true they weren’t voting for Hillary and what she stood for but instead supporting her just because she was a woman. And that’s childish and silly and no way to vote for a leader.

McCain is the oldest person to ever run for President. His first Presidential decision was to select a person with zero experience in terms that translate to the Federal level. Obama, meanwhile, was a Constitutional Law Professor. Palin lacks an advanced or terminal degree. With a 72 year old candidate, the VP pick is of critical importance. McCain blew it. I supported him in 4 elections over the past 20 years, but he has clearly become senile.

BTW, last time I checked, the US “borders two foreign countries”. Those who believe proximity gives foreign policy experience by osmosis could not understand what is wrong with that viewpoint…

Biden is one of the top 5 foreign policy experts in the Senate by any measure.

Somehow it is not surprising that people who think Bush is a good President would think that being on the City Council and Mayor of an Alaskan village and governor of the second smallest state for 20 months is “Executive Experience”.

It’s a not funny joke…

Interesting how the “don’t confuse me with the facts” liberals won’t (or don’t want to) see the kind of dirt that Wooden is. Of course, that is the liberal way, the perp is always the good guy… You libs are showing your “typical”! God bless the people who love this country, the Conservatives, who can save you in spite of yourselves!

Anyone in his…or her….right mind would _want_ to fire a cop who beats his own wife, Tasers his own son, and makes death-threats.

Failure to do so would be inexcusable. Except for the Leftards, who see to see no evil in Evil, and will make excuses for every criminal and deviant.

Lacking the capacity for reason, all Leftards see the world through the lens of emotion, where everything is based on “feelings. ”

Such persons need to be made Wards of the State.

Btw, who knew that Rolling Stone was such a source for breakign political news. Maybe you can divert one of your reporters from yet another article celebrating illicit heroin use by Amy Winehouse or the Babyshambles front man to this breaking news. I am so disgusted that Palin would want to fire a state trooper for tasering his stepson, getting wasted in his patrol car, and making death threats against the governor’s father? I wouldn’t use this cartoon-like liberal rag to wipe my —. Yeah, keep waiting on the indictment. That should come out shortly after a Rezko-related indictment for the messiah.

Its sad that John McCain is so desperate to win that he will pick an unqualified woman, who wants to be Hillary Clinton, to try to win over the “older independent women” Does he think we are that stupid…. To suggest that the women of this country are so idiotic….. Hopefully we will stand up as strong women and support the better candidate. Not the candidate that is grasping at straws. Pick the person who truly wants our reputation with the world to be revived and has our best interests at heart.

hd | 8/31/2008, 10:39 am EST

Thanks to McCain putting his ambition before the needs of the country by picking a completely unqualified candidate to mollify the right-wing nutters, the hate-America neocon traitors will be turned out of the White House. It is a great day for out beloved USA.

Mr. McCain just called me STUPID!!

My president my ass!!! I know how you treated your first wife Mr, and you think you going to use Paulin to get you to white house and dump her?? As I said even if you think We are STUPID, not that STUPID!!!

TheDarqueOne | 9/2/2008, 7:43 pm EST

I feel for Bristol. How can her mother put her through what is going to be a horrible experience? We are going to hurt an innocent girl that does not deserve it with the crushing attention of this campaign.

Family-Values, Repub style!

TheDarqueOne | 9/2/2008, 7:46 pm EST

Some people here do not seem to get that there is a Right and a Wrong way to do anything.

Wooten may be scum, and may have deserved to be fired or worse. But that does not give Gov Palin the right to pressure people into doing it. Sounds to me like she has no faith in the system and likes to hand out ‘Justice’ herself.

We do have Laws you know.

3 AM Call | 9/2/2008, 10:38 pm EST

If McCain dies at 3 AM will Sarah be ready??? NOT!!!!

All the hype about Obama not being readhy to lead…Then you pick an inexperienced Governor from Alaska?????

Women are not stupid…She will never be Hillary Clinton….

McLame to the rescue??????

FreeVoter | 9/3/2008, 12:12 pm EST

If you look into the facts of the “Indictment Scandal”, you will note the scumbag officer that drank on the job and tasered his 11 year old son should have been fired. If Pahlin had not stepped in and asked for his badge – you all would have been screaming she is not doing here job. Palin is the real deal we can all relate to and look up to. Can you say the same for Biden?!

If Sarah Palin helps McCain become the next president because Hillary supporters vote for her, it will be the biggest insult to Hillary Clinton ever. Just think: Hillary doesn’t get to be the first–instead, an inexperienced chippy whose opinions are diametrically opposed to Hillary’s reaches the oval office due to votes cast in anger by women voters!
