Ice ages are not “climate change” because the presence or absence of ice ages is not a “change” – climate cycles caused by deviations in orbital angle, etc have been happening predictably for the entirety of Earth’s history.

The present rapid warming cycle, on the other hand, is a “change” because it is occurring outside the established historical patterns of global warming and cooling.

Postscript: Palin is also a Creationist who thinks Creationism should be taught in the classroom.

Praust– Global temps have plateued since 98. No hot spots have been detected in the upper atmosphere, which is where they should be if unprecedented warming were to occur…so there goes the out of control warming bs. And while some is melting and some glaciers receding, others are growing and ice is forming elsewhere. It just goes to show that it’s A) Incredibly arrogant for man to believe that he is the cause and solution to all of life’s problems, B) We might as well fess up that we dont really have a clue as to whats happening with the planet.

I`ll take a hockey mom over a community organizer that has never had to make an executive crisis decision in his life.

Especially a hockey mom that went after corrupt govt officials in her own party. And ended up having them put in jail or removed from office. Then ran against and beat the corrupt Governor who tried to silence her. And when Alaskan Sen. Stevens got tax payer`s money appropriated for the “Bridge to Nowhere”, she as Governor said no thanks to the money and sent it back. Yeah, I`d call that “Morals and Values”. The fact that she can handle a rifle is just icing on the cake.

Now crawl back into your mud hole where you get all these unsubstantiated charges that you toss around.
