this move reeks of politican Cynicism

Methinks perhaps we should start bying extra copies of this months RS. After the GOP rides a landslide into the Oval Office in November, fatcat Republicans will pay a lot for a copy, to rub in our faces.

I fear the Left has been too busy patting itself on the back and preening in the mirror and NOT taking care of business.

When McCain goes belly-up, she’ll make a great president.

right?

Kinda pokes holes in McCain’s criticisms of Obama’s experience though.

…in a surprise move today, Senator Joseph Biden, D-DL asked that his name be removed as Democratic candidate for Vice President. Rumors swirl that Biden was asked to step down by President nominee Barack Obama so that Senator Hillary Clinton, D-NY could be named Vice President candidate instead.

It will be interesting to see how much ‘bounce’ the Left has coming out of the convention.

She’s a HELL of a lot prettier than Hil. Why can’t we have one of those?

Passing up Pawlenty or Jindal for the very risky Palin is a ballsy move for sure. But I’m not as convinced as DD that it will catapult McCain into the White House. Time will tell.

But, like Obama’s ability to criticize McCain for voting for the war was diminished by choosing Biden, I feel McCain is going to have a hard time using the experience argument against Obama now.

I was hoping it would be Romney. The creepiness of a McCain/Romney ticket would have been hard for many voters to stomach.

ps. She’s definitely a looker, but this feeble attempt to sway women voters could backfire. It seems that women usually hate the pretty girl in the room.

We’ll see how long McCain is opposed to drilling in Alaska now.

If she becomes VP will she make as much money as Biden would have?

Better ask Johnny Boy. He doesn’t think she should.

Experience to lead. Until I die & then it won’t matter.

I’m John McCain & still alive to approve this messege

what a joke.a shameless attempt to win hillary voters. mccain just sealed off his best argument against obama and with it his hopes of victory.

What a great pick I love this ticket. I was a Hillary supporter not diggin the Obama hype to much. I love this they can’t say shes from old politics and they cant say that cant hold her own. Especially since she took down an attoryney general. Shes balsy. OH yea did anyone notice this old guy didn’t refer to his VP as the next president of the United States like Obama America as Biden called him. Now thats a joke team. While Obamas partying like a rock star Mccains taking care of business.

I find it amazing that this decision can be rationalized. While I wasn’t totally sold on McCain I had planned to vote for him. This has shown me that he has incredibly poor judgment.
What a difference a day makes!

I worried about Obama’s inexperience argument; but to pick someone with NO NATIONAL OR FOREIGN AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE IS AS CRAZY AS IT GETS! HILLARY’S WOMEN NOW FEEL PATRONIZED BY THE PARTY…DO THEY REALLY THINK WE ARE THAT SHALLOW? Our kind vote the issues not the gender. We are NOT STUPID. Hillary had a record to run on…this “rookie” needs about twenty years to fill Hillary’s shoes.

The pick is not my problem here. It is the process. Seems this id the way McCain will be making decisions in the white house. Get up one morning decide to bomb Iran with no home work done and America will become history. McCain is a very irrational person. Can’t see him in the white house.

Logoman | 9/4/2008, 6:17 pm EST

The perfect choice to get Obama in the White House. She’s so extreme no one in their right mind would even think of voting for McCain now.
