6:1 — McCain Running a Negative Campaign

8/20/08, 11:31 pm EST

A new poll finds that voters by a huge margin — six to one — are fingering McCain for running a negative campaign.

The Obama campaign has taken heat for not fighting back more vehemently against the Schmidt/McCain assault this summer. But I’m increasingly convinced that there’s a method to taking those punches.

McCain has raised Obama’s negatives somewhat (although the mid-thirties is hardly worrisome.) But the McNasty campaign has hurt the “Original Maverick” as well. And now, with folks literally begging Obama to get up and fight, he’s able to run stinging attack ads like this one while looking like he’s just defending himself. Throwing some mud, yes, but not looking like he abandoned his high-minded approach for the gutter. Playing some old-school politics while still being able to hit McCain for playing the same old politics.

It’s, in fact, very reminiscent of the tack he took with Hillary Clinton last summer…

I’m sure he doesn’t care

Delta Wild Man | 8/21/2008, 9:56 am EST

But he is running either neck and neck with Obama-rama or ahead of Ali-Obama.
I thought this was going to be a run-a-way election for Senator Obama..
What Happened?
And it’s this close with all the skrew ups McCain has made.
What’s Senator Obama going to do when he goes back to the senate?
How is he going to deal with Hillary and what she’s got planned for the Freshman Senator from Il?

joanne boatright | 8/21/2008, 11:13 am EST

Isn’t it a little early to write him off? McCain’s blunders get more senile by the day – for God’s sake, yesterday he agreed that bringing back the DRAFT was a great idea. The DRAFT. In my humble opinion, all Osama has to do is wait for him to self-destruct, which looks to be inevitable by November.

joanne boatright | 8/21/2008, 11:15 am EST

Whoops! Typo. Read OBAMA for Osama please. Yikes!

Coach | 8/21/2008, 12:02 pm EST

Delta, you’re simply off your rocker sir. You’re going to take heed to a poll of 1008 people taken over a summer weekend as your barometer for how this election is going to go? Keep reaching my friend…….

McCain, McGoo, McSame, McLame, McOld, McFlip, Mclost has one chance to win: Cheat. Question is, what are the Rovians going to do this time?

Besides, Delta: Remember, he’s too half-black, too young, too naive, too left, and too muslim, remember???

Jackass

Delta Wild Man | 8/21/2008, 12:35 pm EST

Coach
The point is, McCain might be old, but he’s holding his own with the Master of Change Ali-Obama.
This was not suppose to happen.
The election was all over, not really a reason to go out and vote because Senator Obama was our next president.

Problem is, It’s starting to look bad for Obama-lama.
Not me saying this, the National Media is..

If the Republicans didn’t just try and give the Democrats the White House this election, I don’t know what else you can call it.
Then the Democrats come up with a fellow by the name of Barack Hussien Obama.
What is it?
A game of Hot Potato?
I don’t want the job, you take it!
No, I don’t want the job, you keep it!!
I know let’s get Mike to take the job “Obama or McCain” They would take anything..
Coach, the real question in this whole thing is Why don’t the Republicans or Democrats want to be Commander-N-Chief??
Could it be that things are about to get real bad, real fast and no one wants to be the leader at a time of war??
Ponder on that one for a little while Coach.

Coach | 8/21/2008, 2:28 pm EST

DELTA: Again, you’re referencing ONE SINGLE POLL OF ONE THOUSAND PEOPLE ON A SUMMER WEEKEND. It holds ZERO merit. But, yet, you run like hell with it.

Good luck. In everybody else’s minds it’s still going to be a landslide victory. McCain’s vote total cannot match Obama’s. It’s pure math……..

So, NO, you’re not proving anything. It’s just another desperate attempt by the radicals to put substance into shat. Throw enough shat against the wall, and, maybe something will stick.

Obama-lama??? Are you phucking kidding? How ’bout McPhuckhead? Or, McNazi? Or, McRacist? Or, McHitler? Or, McWhophuckingcares? Or, McCheater? Or, McAdulterer? Or, McLiar? Or, McForgot? Or, McFraud? Or, McPain?

Delta Wild Man | 8/21/2008, 2:33 pm EST

How about McMuffen??

joanne boatright | 8/21/2008, 4:57 pm EST

Coach: No point in arguing with an idiot like Delta. The more he can make you mad, the more he get off on it.

Joan figured out that the gliebe is nothing more than a dementer, a tortured soul that has allowed itself to be turned into a tool to torment others… congratulations.
And how do you get rid of the dementers? use your inner light, not fire.

Merkwurdigliebe | 8/21/2008, 8:06 pm EST

you seem to be confusing me with the wild man jed…whatever, anyone who disagrees with you is demented, you’re the all knower, all seer…sure, chutzpah much?

But the ol’ Wildman has a point. Obama should be killing McCain, but McCain has constantly stayed close within the margin of error. True its still early, but Obama has yet to use any heavy artillery, and has shown naivete at every turn (Wright, his wife, lack of definable positions, etc). He’s going to have to…HilDog almost sank him toward the end of the primaries, and would have succeeded had he not had momentum to cruise on.

Obam has to hammer down on his postitions and give flyover country meat to vote for…because nuace is not what they want. Kerry had tons of nuance, and look where that got him…

PartyCrasher | 8/22/2008, 4:14 am EST

If I may join this circle jerk. Hey Joanne, Babe, no need to appologize. Osama, Obama what`s the difference? They both want to destroy the country. They just have different methods. Personally, I prefer Osama`s way. At least he`s up front about it. And Coach what`s with the McInsults. I know your replying to Wild Man`s rather harmless plays on Obama`s name. I mean Obama-rama merits these replies: McRasist? McNazi? McHitler? Man throw enough shat against the wall and it comes out of your mouth. Besides it don`t take no talent to add words to Mc. Know what I mean, McRoach?
Hey Jed, I don`t think you`re going to find much inner light in Coach. Too much hate down there.
Sorry if I turned this into an O`Bummer. And if I hurt anyone`s feelings, I hope you don`t run home and tell your O`Momma.

Cut from the same cloth, one merely more soiled than the other.
Once again, whether you agree with me or not makes no difference. Your salvation or perdition makes no difference to me whatsoever, you see, it is your choice and within your power to resolve your own issues. What bothers me is that you repeatedly attempt to mislead and confuse others as if you had any understanding of what is going on in the world.
Personally, I know nothing and understand there is much I can never know, I merely have the ability to listen to the answers when I ask… one merely has to ask the right way. No surprise that you would be incapable of such things, as dark as your heart is, the door is locked tight, with you on the wrong side.

Chutzpa- unmitigated effrontery or impudence, gall, insolence.

effrontery – shameless or impudent boldness, barefaced audacity.

You mean like telling those that believe in religion that they are insane for having some sort of belief? Or perhaps deriding great scientists outright without even an inkling of what they were trying to teach? Or perhaps insulting those older than you who have been forced to go fight in a foreign land so that you can have the CHUTZPA to insult them without fear of being overwhelmed by a totalitarian apparatus of repression?
Wake up kid. You don’t believe there is a greater force at work upon humanity even though it is evident that deceit permeates almost all our institutions and endeavours. Corruption is rampant within our political system, yet you choose to support and become a mouthpiece for those that are clearly corrupted by greed and all the power of the dark side. What does that make you besides glib.

glib – readily fluent, often thoughtlessly, superficially or insincerely so.
- marked by a lack of intellectual depth. Having only superficial plausibility.
-Artfully persuasive in speech “a smooth tongued hypocrite”

More power to the Colbert Nation and all the silent Beverly Hillbilies. Time to awaken and start raising your voices and stomping your feet. Time to take our planet back.

I’m sure coach has no problem generating plenty of his own light. Even though he’s been tossed through the heart of darkness, he kept his sense of righteousness, unlike those who have never known it and could never possibly understand it or its value. Sort of like respect, you know, that thing americans stopped teaching their children so long ago. No sir, no hatred there at all, just concern for a future still in the hands of those who gave up their souls and planet for shiny trinkets and power.

Merkwurdigliebe | 8/22/2008, 8:40 am EST

ah Jed, always the obfuscator. When in doubt, turn to hollow voodoo speak, act like you’re more in touch with Earths spiritual side when you have almost nothing to infer on, and degrade your opponent as obviously deranged. I dont attempt to mislead others, I present another side of a picture that you dont want to recognize because it challenges your warmed over hippie dippie view of things

So back your statements up “kid.” or are you going to prattle on while high on your own self importance…don’t look now, the lizard men might be coming to get you…

and how do I support corruption? The main themes of a majority of my posts are changing/confronting corruption. Yours are mostly sniping insults and vague, oblique tangents that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. Coach at least has debatable points, and you can come to an agreement with them. You divide everything up into good and evil, and if i’m not one, I must be the other…a little totalitarian, dont you think?

Coach | 8/22/2008, 11:15 am EST

Hey PartyCrasher: Care to enlighten us as to how Obama plans to destroy the country? Oh, wait. Nevermind. Radicals don’t have an explanation.

I guess you still think Bush isn’t destroying the country.

PartyCrasher | 8/22/2008, 12:03 pm EST

Sure Coach, will do. As soon as you can explain to the class how McCain is a McNazi, a McRacist, a McHitler.

I just think Obama`s programs will be very bad for the country. I was just using your method of over kill and demonizing to express it.

Your serve!

Anonymous | 8/22/2008, 12:08 pm EST

Jed Clampett

A yes, the Glib speaks and we must accept. hillarious bro!!

Voodoo – a convenient word, it’s intent is to deride the ideal it is attached to so that others may not look into it further. Such as “voodoo economics”… (remember ‘trickle down economics’ anyone? did you feel the trickle? what did it smell like? some folks just don’t realize when they are being pissed on).
One thing about the voodoo practitioners though, they were men of knowledge much like the ones that tried to create paradise in the americas, and as such understood nature quite deeply. Unfortunately, like many who are seduced by power, they decided to use it for selfish reasons and with evil intent. They used the power of the puffer fish, combined with other elements and compounds, to enslaven their fellow men, turn them into zombies if you will. Then again, maybe they were just savvy businessmen.

While a picture is open to many interpretations, there is only one truth. Some accept the picture as is and say… ‘it is what it is’ while others look at the image and realize there’s more depth to the focus if you merely open your third eye. Some do, don’t like what they see and forget they saw and never think of it again. Others are seduced by the image and the power it may bring and decide to support, amplify and propagate the lie. Others still, want to make sure no one ignores it because they understand the gravity of the situation.

While I allow your intellectual denseness to aggravate me sometimes and to reach into the depths of darkness into your level and pour your derisions, amplified, back upon you, you must recognize, unless completely blinded, that I do have a spiritual connection you can’t possibly perceive, much less understand. And if you choose to deride that as hippie dippie, so be it. I’d much rather be a flower child than a slitherin, driven by greed and selfishness to the detriment of all, including himself and his family.

There is an old chinese proberb… ‘before enlightenment, go to the well, fill the bucket, carry the water. After enlightenment, go to the well, fill the bucket, carry the water.’

This is akin to the proberb Jesus of Nazareth told that speaks of the master that leaves on a journey and leaves his workers a stipend, a few talents, to do with as they will to the benefit of the household. The homeowner goes off on his journey for a long time and upon his return asks of his charges what has been done with the talents given to them. One invested them and was fortunate, he made a profit for the household with his talents. The master was proud. Then the next servant explains that he also tried to use his talents but was unsuccessful and unfortunately lost it all. While somewhat dissapointed, the master was pleased that his servant understood the dangers of using his talents and decided to attempt an improvement regardless of the risks. he was forgiven his loss and handsomely rewarded. The last servant decided to protect the talents given to him. He buried them in a hole for safe keeping and never let them see the light of day for fear of losing them or tarnishing them. Never were they put to use for the benefit of anyone, including the servant in time of need. This, unfortunately, dissapointed the master, who stripped the servant of his belongings and sent him out among the commoners to live among the downtrodden.
Do you understand the significance of this parable? (rhetorical question, I know you don’t) Does if speak of money or actually talents, abilities, knowledge?

It is time to stop acting as if we haven’t been to the well and seen what is in the waters. Time to stop carrying water for some selfish master and understand the power of the waters and it’s life giving energies. Time to pour the waters onto the earth and help her heal, to make this reality, that has been imposed upon us, ours. To realize the powers we have as children of earth to understand our predicament and to coax those that have been blinded to open their eyes. The alternative is for earth to move the waters herself and cleanse it all again.

Time to enhance the powers of the water, in the ways that Viktor Shauberger reached out and brought forth for us, and pour them upon the earth to make it heal once again, we need her healthy and powerful in order to complete the next task.

Merkwurdigliebe | 8/22/2008, 12:43 pm EST

Not to be snarky jed, but really, was there a point to any of that? Lots of bloviating, self-aggrandizement, and humbler than thou statement, not much point, or concrete. You’re down with the spirits, fine. Tesla and Schauberger where/are/will be the solution to all of societies problems, cool. But truth is subjective, as there are many people who dont b.uy into your doom and gloom, lets just get back to the garden and play nice version of it. All man is inherently evil, or more appropriate, animalistic, its just a matter of using freewill to choose whats right or wrong. The problem is, as long as we arrogant little apes are running around the planet, we’re going to be devising ways to bad to each other, just as in time immemoriam.

And dont insult my intelligence, I may disagree with all of your points, when you have them, but I’m not stupid. We disagree, but that doesnt make one of us dumber than the other, presumably. And my response to the parable: if the master gave out the talents to his servants and said do what thou wilst, then those servants have every right to spend, lose, or hoard them, if you’re talking about money that is. I know where you’re coming from, but if money is earned legally, then you do what you want with it. As for talents, yes we should help others. But at some point, the individual has to sit up, take stock, and take responsibility.

Shall not Podhoretz Neo-Con Insane McCain and Neo-Lib Liberjudasman, America’s most danger pair of Crypto-Neo-Marxists, be justly condemned to the gallows for their notorious treason against Christian culture and Constitutional rule of law?

Jed Clampett

Time immemoriam…. Hmmm, and you say this because you remember this? I’ve been shown a time when earth was considered paradise, the garden, and some, women mostly, could take on the wings of birds and fly like angels. Man is inherently evil is what they want us to believe so that they can justify what is being done to us, I merely have to look into the innocence and kindness of a child to know this is another lie. How far does your ‘history’ take you? I mean, written history, can it be trusted when the victor gets to rewrite the history in order to justify it’s inhumanity.
What was so dangerous to the church in the writings of the Mayas and Aztecs that they had to destroy that sort of knowledge? What about it was so evil? Why do they still hide from the world the knowledge contained in the last three codices?
In all their deeds the ancients of america seemed to have good intent, yet that was all distorted and destroyed by men purporting to be of GOD? Much like our leadership today. Things that make one go, hummmm!!!

Let’s see. Tesla proved that with the right technology one can stimulate or drain a resonant system at a distance (All living beings are resonant systems). He was able to transmit information wirelessly via the earth at the square of the speed of light, power as well, during the 1920’s. Lakhorovsky and others proved the dangers of radiant energy, hertzian waves, on living systems. Yet, instead of adopting the safe, economic and efficient methods discovered and implemented by Tesla, the Hertzian wave system stolen by Marcony and later perfected by Tesla himself was made ubiquitous, despite it’s detrimental effects on all living things. This was accidental?( perhaps it was the thing that tormented tesla to the end, having helped RCA implement a flawed, dangerous system)
Why does the visions of St John the Divine speak of 4 satellites controlling the world? Probably just conjecture, mumbo jumbo or imagination, huh? The funny thing is that it’s effects are merely an illusion. While they may be able to hurt us internally, their power is really quite limited when you consider that the human brain and brainstem are actually manipulators of light and can control the resonance of the whole system.
Can you possibly get your head around that one?
Those that have understanding will begin to realize what it means in due time. All that is required is good intentions. Imagination is the key that unlocks the tightest doors and opens the windows to perception.

Animalistic? hmm, I wonder how many animals are driven to destroy earth’s creation? How many animals have taken to ‘mastery’ and ‘dominion’ of earth and nature rather than living in harmony with it? How many animals treat the waters, the source of life, with such disrespect as to carry their excrement and pollution? Do any other animals place more worth on the carbon at the depths of the crust more than the life giving waters on the surface?
Sorry pal, I’ve been searching for this for too long to be dissuaded by someone as insignificant as you.
Perhaps if you were to remember your past lives you might find that there was a not too distant past where life was abundant and prosperous and almost magical to those who sought it with the right intent.
We created paradise before they started making us sick. We had knowledge of healing, able to eradicate disease. Can your modern medicine say this? How’s that war on cancer going? much progress in even understanding it’s causes, or are they merely stuck on treating symptoms?

You see, it’s obvious some among us are intent on devising ways to be bad to each other, the message is that we have the power to prevent it, by not channeling such energies ourselves. To not fear, for fear feeds them, deny them their sustenance. To not rage, for rage empowers them, why empower your enemy? Trust in earth and the light, for all ancient cultures revered these things because they understood our powers inherently, they were not as interfered upon by the inorganics.
These days, there are plenty more satellites in the sky, spreading their radiation over the earth without much thought to it’s effects. They wish to measure sea ice decline, yet the waves they emit kill the bacteria that help the ice stay together. Ironic, isn’t it, that in our desire to understand our world and protect it, we are forced to use technology that actually destroys the homeworld.
Sometimes deception goes really deep and even those intelligent enough to care are deluded into harming themselves, that is the epitomy of deception and the art of our enemy. An entity that has been around much longer than we can imagine ourselves to be.

I like this statement… “but if money is earned legally, then you do what you want with it.” Too many deep thoughts brought forth with this one, not going to bother with most of them, just one point. If those that have greed as their driving force have inserted themselves into the legislature and the executive and the judicial in order to give themselves a winning edge, have created laws and loopholes in these laws in order to benefit themselves and their cronies, what basis in reality do their ‘legal’ machinations have? Would you give a ‘poor businessman’ $30 billion of your money instead of investing in his company and removing him if necessary to protect your investment?

McCain and Lieberman have been able to ride both sides of the fence for so long because they work directly for the main kabal. The illuminati, the skulls, those who have been seduced by power and shiny trinkets. Perhaps it is time they shut down their programming and allow themselves to sleep instead of working illogically as they do.
“the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few, or the one”

Coach | 8/22/2008, 3:22 pm EST

PartyCrasher: McCain wants to invade Iran, stay in Iraq forever, and is now spewing vitriol at Russia. So, based on his desire to spread America’s ideals all over a region: Well, there’s your comparison to Hitler.

He’s a racist, based on the fact that his security guards have been exposed removing ‘colored’ reporters.

Volley. Now, just because you ‘think’ Obama’s policies are bad for this country, does that mean that they ARE? And, does that mean that you’re FOR McCain’s policies, I mean Bush’s policies. Well, what’s the difference. You’re for the status quo??

PartyCrasher | 8/22/2008, 5:53 pm EST

Coach, thanks for the softball. Let me see if I got your quote right, you said: “So, based on his desire to spread America’s ideals all over a region: Well, there’s your comparison to Hitler.”
You may not like an aggressive US foreign policy, fine. But are you seriously comparing American ideals to that of Hitler and the Nazis. What is it with always making moral equivalents between us and our enemies. Yeah that`s right I said enemies. You need to borrow whatever it is that Jed is smoking.

PartyCrasher | 8/22/2008, 7:00 pm EST

One other thing Coach, just because I ‘think’ Obama’s policies are bad for this country, doesn`t mean that they ARE NOT?
As far as McCain`s security guards removing black reporters, I`ll bet there`s more to this story than what you`re telling. You think?
So when Obama`s people removed two Muslim women with their head dress on, from their seats behind where Obama was going to speak on TV. Because they didn`t want them seen by viewers. I guess that makes Obama an Anti Muslim Bigot.
And that is exactly the story.

OBAMA EXPOSES MC-CAIN TREASON

Neo-Con McCain’s foreign policy adviser, Neo-Marxist Scheunemann, is notorious throughout the World for his insidious role in successfully provoking the un-Constitutional Neo-Con Bush War against Iraq, and now unsuccessfully provoking wars against Iran and Russia. The ruinous Iraq War sacrificed over a trillion dollars, and the priceless lives of more than 4,000 young patriotic volunteers, for the sole benefit of the universally condemned Judeofascist land robbers. The trustful Reagan Conservatives and Kennedy Liberals, angered over having been cunningly fooled once, are not fooled twice.

When Obama recently discovered that Scheunemann had been paid nearly $300 to provoke war against Russia in support of Georgia’s internecine attack, he immediately exposed the transparent conflict of interest that motivated McCain’s insane bellicose treason against the American People, “John McCain’s top foreign policy adviser lobbied for, and has a vested interest in, the Republic of Georgia and McCain has mirrored the position advocated by the government.”

Not a Clue | 8/25/2008, 7:21 pm EST

Speaking of McCain attacks, most importantly, what does he think of Madonna? To whom would he compare her?
