It’s a grand day in Norway, Nils Olav, penguin extraordiare has been granted knighthood. It’s good to see one country has it’s priorities straight.

I suggest we establish Knights in America as well. We could have different classifications: Knight Errant, Knight of the Court, Black Knight, Clown Knight, Prom Knight and the always popular Forgotten Knight (as in the morning after the night before).

And I suggest we inaugurate the process by naming W.C. Fields the first recipient. I’m just not sure which knighthood would be most appropos of the juggler, comedian, actor, writer, director, raconteur.

In my next life I want to be an assembly line supervisor at Ecko Manufacturing.
