Im sorry George Carlin died i liked how he pushed the limits on censorship and his hippie weatherman is still one of my favorite comedy characters.

I liked Pryor, Murphy and all the rest but none came close to matching George Carlin. He made us think and laugh. He will be very much missed! For those of you who never got the chance to watch him, I’d suggest picking up one of his HBO one night stand DVD’s.

Notice how the voices of reason are being silenced?
George, I hope you get to some place where these stupid sh*ts can’t affect you.

This news was a punch in the gut this morning. I grew up on Carlin; my brother & I can quote practically the entire “Take-Offs & Put-Ons” album word-for-word. Then again, he’d probably be the first to smack me in the back of the head for mourning, so that’ll be enough of that.

Carlin was one of the greatest minds of our time. and 50 years from now he will still be regarded as one of the greats thinkers of our time, he just happened to be able to make his genius ideas funny enough for us to laugh at.
he will be missed, but not ever forgetten
