McCain on Obama’s Failed “Judgmen” [sic]

6/5/08, 6:32 pm EST

The McCain mistakes (mcstakes?) just keep piling up…

You’d think they’d at least spell-check the homepage:

That’s not “judgmen” we can believe in…

Gee, let’s just assess those three headlines:

Obama must go to Iraq: Why? Is that, somehow, going to take away from the fact that it was an unnecessary war perpetrated on the American public as a necessity in the global war on terror (whatever that is..)? And, if things are getting so much better there, why is McCain opposed to pulling out?

Obama the Naive: I can only guess that he’s being accused of being naive because he’s willing to sit down and TALK to ‘enemies’. If that’s the accusation, whatever. Why doesn’t John McGoo ask Prescott Bush about his dealings with Hitler…….

Obama on Iranian Influence Equals Failed Judgemen: His judgement is that Iran is not a direct threat to us, so why be so eager to take them down? I realize it would be horrible if they nuked Israel, but wouldn’t that justify the retaliation? Pre-emptive attacks don’t justify anything, unless evidence is found that proves the attack necessary.

I’ve had just about enough of the conservatives’ willingness to abandon any and all diplomacy in the name of freedom and democracy. Isn’t diplomacy one of the cornerstones of democracy?

PS: Guess who just went and ‘talked’ to Iran’s leaders. None other than Al Malaki, Bush’s little puppet. So, then, isn’t Al Malaki an appeaser??????????

Who judgs the judgmen?

J | 6/6/2008, 2:19 am EST

Yo Coach, read the articles, not the titles. Maybe it’ll enlighten you and the rest of the sheep that are blindly following Obama. And no, diplomacy is not a cornerstone of democracy.

Coach | 6/6/2008, 9:54 pm EST

Yo J: Or, maybe you’re just drinking the republican kool aid…..

I’ll take new kool-aid over old kool-aid any day. But, thanks for the education that diplomacy is not one of the cornerstones of democracy. I had no idea…..

I suppose you DO know the cornerstones of democracy?

History | 6/6/2008, 9:58 pm EST

Off the wall, but can you imagine if Barack Obama had a grandfather that did weapons and ammunition dealings with Adolf Hitler during WWII? Just a thought………..

The outrage would be immense. But, yet, there has been very minimal outrage at the Bush family’s dealings with Hitler (among many other dictators, terrorists, etc).

celticfenian | 6/6/2008, 10:46 pm EST

obama’s run a great campaign. his judgement is clear and intact. he was more than gracious with hillary. the so-called right seems fit to attack everything but obama himself(wright, michelle, etc…). they have no arguments whatsoever. next thing you know we’ll hear the crappy/stagnant/meaningless “yes, but we are against big government” argument. it’s all the republicans have memorized for God’s sake!

John Lemmings | 6/8/2008, 6:22 am EST

Thanks for the update one some random typo made by some webmaster who’s likely a hundred levels below McCain himself. Again, Obama fanatics are the only people who will care about stupid things like this, and they’re already obviously firmly invested in their decision.

If you get a paycheck, I hope it’s well spent!

celticfenian | 6/8/2008, 7:16 am EST

lemming doesn’t seem to be making any point whatsoever. how vapid and meaningless…

Jay Sherman | 6/8/2008, 12:38 pm EST

Celticfenian are you blind? I’m making a clear point. I’m calling this blog out on being terrible journalism, covering non-issues.

How thick is your skull?

Bender | 6/8/2008, 12:49 pm EST

Hey Lemming: What’s the REAL reason you’re so against Obama? You really haven’t stated anything yet. Or, at least, anything relevant. I love to see people try to hide racism or sexism or bigotry…..it’s so fun.

Bender– how about the fact that Obama is naive as all hell? Not that McCain is any better, but what a cr@p choice– a well spoken, naive empty suit with bad policies or a senile old coot who may or may not croak in several months with bad policies

c’mon people, if you think either candidate is going to change washington, you need to have your head examined…you kiddies want real change? vote in the Green, Libertarian, or whatever populist party is out there

is it really change if all you have to vote for are two sides of the same bad coin?

celticfenian | 6/8/2008, 4:46 pm EST

that reminds me,… bravo to the media for ignoring ralph nader, the republican shill. wasting a vote is the same as not voting at all.

if you can’t see the vast difference between mccain and obama then you are probably one of those nihilistic hecklers that complains incessantly from the sidelines. we are the patriots that want to improve this country.

you must be canadian.

Anonymous | 6/8/2008, 5:43 pm EST

Celtic- nope, I’m a redblooded american who doesnt have his political head up his @ss or an unabashed boner for Obama, no matter how smooth he talks

again, feel secure in your smug confidence while the country goes awry– the Dems have been up there for the last 8 years as well, getting money from the same lobbyists, as corrupt as the Repubs… so again, how is voting for the other side of washington a change from it…you really want change, vote in a 3rd party

call yourself a patriot…I’ll call you a moron blindly following the rest of the herd, wondering why four years from now no change has happened

celticfenian | 6/8/2008, 7:16 pm EST

go vote for your third party, you sandlefooted canuck. our party is going to unite, while you sit there sincerely wondering why nader can’t get elected. why don’t you just throw away your voter i.d. while you’re at it.

have fun on the sidelines crybaby !

Anonymous | 6/8/2008, 10:47 pm EST

(Merkwurdigliebe)

Celtic– sure your party is buddy, sure…keep believe the bull you’re bein fed…once in power, the dems are going to be no different than the repubs (who, coincidentally, said THEIR party would unite 8 years ago…hmm, study history much?)

more people are now dissatisfied with congress (the includes BOTH parties, numbnuts) than ever before…more people would be willing to vote for a 3rd party than you give credit for, all they need is some prodding

and you still havent answered my question–how is it change, when you’re voting for different sides of the same coin? How is voting for washington a change from it? Either way, you get a candidate of failed ideas…but if you want to comfort yourself and your naivete/ignorance of some vague idea of “change”, then so be it, hope sunday morning coming down is too hard on you

celticfenian | 6/9/2008, 12:33 am EST

merk, you all people from quebec like you?

take your voter i.d. and set it aflame you 51st stater. i reject your adolescent coin-metaphor, therefore i don’t need to answer your querie. leave the real-politicking to the patriots you frostback…

Anonymous | 6/9/2008, 12:49 am EST

(Merkwurdigliebe)

Celtic– uh huh, yeah, I’m Canadian(?) How did you come to this conclusion?…

whatever makes you feel comfortable in your altered reality…back away slowly from whatever substances you may be on

your obfuscation is criminally noticable…still waitin for you to enlighten me on how you’re such a patriot, or how voting democratic is a “change”…are you unwilling or unable to answer?

I’ll spell it out for you: repubs have sh*tty ideas, and dems have a way to make those ideas sh*ttier…Lewis Black never spoke truer words

John Lemmins | 6/9/2008, 3:06 am EST

Hahaha I just love the “HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE OBAMA? NO DOUBT RACISM!” attack. People pulling the race card is always classy, especially the way they imply that their revered leader is obviously faultless.

I really don’t give much care to either of the candidates, it’s just that the Obama cult is so easy to get riled up (and that is when their baseless trust starts looking silly on their part)

Politics is all scum!

The Enemy Below | 6/13/2008, 9:45 pm EST

Both Prescott Bush and Joe Kennedy Were Nazi Sympathisers in WWII!!
