At 167 pledged delegates, Obama could spot Clinton an Illinois — not his margin of victory in Illinois, mind you, the whole damn thing — and still be up a North Dakota.

Tell us something we don’t already know!

Your point? Delegate count ceased being a factor weeks ago.

How about a little balance, Tim. Where are the Hagee videos? Or Lieberman whispering sweet nothings into McCain’s ear? Or McCain going ballistic on a reporter? Or McCain flip-flopping on tax-cuts for the rich? The next Prez. is most likely going to appoint two justices to the Supreme Court. If McCain wins, it’s sayonara to Roe v Wade. Then, how long before they go after birth control pills and condoms? The Right opposes ALL of those things. If we don’t expose McCain for the dolt that he is, this whole country is going to become one big bible-belt. And you and I will be reduced to nothing more than an outdated hole on that belt, of no use but still there as a reminder of the “good ol’ days!”

Tim must be busy researching another Obama story. His comments and content lately are really lacking.

roe v. wade isnt going anywhere, at this point its long become starre decisis, and besides, abortion numbers have been steadily declining since about 1980 with the decision still in place
and even if it were overturned, it would simply go back to the states discretion, which is probably where it should have stayed to begin with
also, constitutionally, i wouldnt worry about the country losing birth control pills, condoms, or the country becoming a “big bible belt” (seriously dude, lay off the ’shrooms), as the government has very little leeway when it come to regulating social behavior
also, Dennis, you’re right…this story is weeks old, and has long assumed room temperature

REAGAN CONSERVATIVES AND KENNEDY LIBERALS JOIN FORCES
In this wonderful presidential battle of the American Cultural War, Reagan Conservatives and Kennedy Liberals are joining forces to fight for their sacred Christian culture and American Constitution, against the combined crypto-Neo-Marxist forces of the Podhoretz Neo-Conservatives and Leiberman Neo-Liberals, by supporting Liberal Obama against Neo-Liberal Princess Hillary and Neo-Conservative Insane McCain.
The World is watching and cheering for Obama. It is the Dawn of the American Reformation that will end of the Era of the Ugly American Neo-Con/Neo-Lib military interventionist governments.

TD,
In case anyone has forgotten, a war is going on. No, I don’t mean the one in the Democratic party, I mean the REAL one where people die. Mostly, other people. But a few of ‘us’ as well. No one needs to be bored, again, by recounting the almost $3Mil spent each week on bombing the Iraqis back to the Stone Age, but here’s an item that might turn a head or two. I doubt it’s MSM material, but I have a feeling it’ll come out.
Go to thenation dot come and do a search on Winter Soldiers. (Interesting, I’d never heard the term, or can’t remember it, coined by Thomas Payne, interesting guy.) Anyway, you’ll find an article about a meeting of former Viet Nam soldiers and former Iraqi soldiers (the Nam vets are there to lend support) retelling horror stories of this countries ‘struggles’ to cram ‘democracy’ down their throats. It’s chilling.
And if you liked THAT war, you’re going to LOVE the Iran War (let’s start thinking up names. Teheran Tussle? Nah.). The MSM recently recounted how the ‘ney’ portion of Bushney was visiting Iraq to ‘bolster the troops’. I didn’t want to read propaganda, so I didn’t. Shame on me. Turns out ‘ney’ was there ‘also’ to ‘encourage’ the Iraqi legislators to pass legislation making it easier for U.S. companies to exploit the Iraqi oilfields (I’m sure he didn’t say it like that). It gets better.
‘Ney also declared ‘victory,’ making it easier to move on to Iran (“We’re done here.”) Why? Because seemingly the ONLY thing standing in the way of this country invading Iran are this country’s military commanders. No, not because they’re afraid. Because they don’t feel we have the troop capability to fight THREE wars at once. And they’ve been right on that count before. Solution, declare victory in Iraq, where we have NO chance of winning, and try again in Iran. We’ve had some practice at it now and we’re sure we’ll get it right this time.
Let’s see, remove Fallon, the area commander who doesn’t agree with invading Iran? Check. Visit Oman, on the Horn of Africa that just happens to be spitting distance from Iran, to secure landing rights? Check. Provide Turkey with satellite imagery of Kurdish rebel hideouts in exchange for landing rights? Check. That about does it. No wait, stage an ‘incident’ that the MSM will play to the max to stir up anti-Iran fervor. What’s that, CIA’s got it in place? Great. On my mark, let loose the dogs from hell.

Can’t argue with that.
I just don’t want McCain to be our next President, dude.
