Rolling Stone Original Video:
Obama Discusses Nevada Ruling

More from today’s San Francisco event.

Here Obama discusses the impact of the federal judge’s decision to dismiss the lawsuit endorsed by Bill Clinton that would have blocked voting at at-large caucuses on the Vegas strip.

“Some of the people who set up the rules,” Obama said, “didn’t think we’d be as competitive as we [are,] and were trying to change them last minute. The judge was clear that you can’t change the rules six days before caucus and that any alteration would have disenfranchised maids, dishwashers, bell hops who work on the Strip… It was the right decision.”

I’m a very positive person. That’s why I identify with Hillary so much. She’s just so inspirational. And warm.

It’s too bad that the judge didn’t see that this ruling is terribly unfair to Hillary and should be reversed. Because of the intensity of the campaign now, it’s obvious she needs every vote she can get in order to win. Winning is key.

Winning is positive. Her winning will be positive for the country. Her winning will be positive for the world. Now that this decision has been made I’m urging the people of Nevada to get out there. Even if it snows. And vote for the best candidate, a candidate of experience and change, Hillary Rodhan Clinton.

Think positive. Be positive. Live positive. Vote HRC.

You can root for HRC all you like, the judge’s ruling was correct and any attempt to disenfranchise voters by the Clinton camp was right out of the Rove book of politics.
I am a HRC constituent who has voted for her twice but who supports Obama for President for the same reasons the following legislators have endorsed his candidacy over HRC’s. (

I’m a woman, a feminist, and knew Rolling Stone when it was in diapers. Pardon me saying so, but I thought FeatherLight’s column about was more than just a tad b____y.

DirtyDennis | 1/19/2008, 11:35 am EST

Ole,

Get back in the closet where you belong. Not that I b-u-y that line.
