You’ve come a long way, Taibbi. From supposedly angry-outsider gonzo guy, to MSM tool and union-busting scab…Why? Don’t you have enough money as it is? I feel like a sucker for ever believing your moral crusading b.s. and I’d doubt I’m the only one.

Matt,
Do you have any intestinal fortitude? What do you believe is important?
Go to NPR and check out the “This I Believe” series for some examples of what other people believe.
Are you a journalist or an opinion writer?

Am I the only one who caught the “Matt Taibbi -Real Time with Bill Maher” tag at the bottom of the screen? I know the writers are on strike but jeez.

I’m glad Matt got some exposure there but next time throw some punches and stop endorsing McCain, you know he’s going to be the hardest one to beat, shhhh!!!!

I thought Matt was very good on Maher, be he needed to call Tony Snow on his assertion that the troops love the war. I am a Vietnam vet and did my job to the best of my ability, particularly to help my buddies. But even Snow must know that there will be retribution to any soldier who does not hew to the administration line, the most ardent supporters will surround a mike or celebrity, and you owe loyalty and support to those in the foxhole with you, so you cannot be too negative, all regardless of how stupid you think the war is. I would not translate a handful of enthusiastic soldiers to broad support of the war by line military. It is just a job, and they will do it to the best of their ability. Tony Snow, who has never served in the military, is a poor spokesman for soldiers, though an excellent mouthpiece for the lying administration.
