Just a thought here, but does anyone remember what these people did before they became Entertainers??
What Collage did they attend??
What was their major??
What were their grade point average??
How about their personal life??
But these folks can damn sure sing!!

Yes, it’s official. Mainstream media with their nonstop coverage of Hillary Clinton has completely eliminated any possible chance of me voting for her. Yes, RS, that includes you…..

Biden gets an article and it’s about how good a VP he would make…..does anybody else see the travesty here? The last 3 articles have been about Hillary. Biden gets ONE about VP????

I’m just about done with RS also……just hanging on.

Media loves to tell us who to vote for. I strongly encourage all of you to research potentially interesting candidates, then ignore MSM. Or at least don’t be tricked by it.

Coach,

I hope you tough it out. These are trying times. Campaigns are all about personalities and personalities are polarizing. Tim is going to ‘favor’ displaying subjects he’s either pretty much with or pretty much against. That’s okay. If you/we have a candidate you want, talk him up, no matter the thread subject. Hammer away, if you truly believe in that person.

As for me, I’m pretty ambivalent. We’re pretty much victim, as everyone points out, to the MSM ‘favorites.’ They receive all the ink, negative and positive, therefore, we learn more about them. Biden may well be the ‘best man,’ but until he strikes a chord with the media, and therein the public, he’ll remain in the shadows. He’s had the opportunity in the debates to come out with something profound and declarative. I don’t watch the debates, but I have a feeling that if he truly HAD done that, it would be receiving air.

Now that may be posturing, but that’s what this ‘game’ is all about. If you really want to be Prez, then you’d better do something to stand out from the rest. Lord knows there are enough places where a person can take a stand. Paul seems to be doing so without negative repercussions, at least from the press and ergo the public.

I can play devil’s advocate and find something against all of them. There aren’t many saints involved. But each has something of merit. All the folderol about Hillary’s experience is just that, but it’s also legitimate. She WAS there and watched the machinery work, or not, as the case may be. I think she’s demonstrated she’s tough. I don’t think she’s a hawk but she’s not going to take any crap from anyone. She could push the button in a blink of an eye. But I don’t think she’d do so except under the most dire of circumstances.

She’s tough in that she can ‘take it’ and brother WHOMever the Dems nominate is going to GET it. The Right doesn’t play nice. So, it would seem smart to have someone tough carrying our banner. By the same token, is she elect able? Her gender is enough to give serious weight to that question. Moreover, there are a LOT of people who don’t like her. Some even who hate her. Having her as a candidate would be sure to galvanize the Right. They’ll be rabid in their attack.

Obana, on the other hand, seems to be an idealist in the mold of JFK. Someone to inspire and lead. Someone who could be a GREAT leader. But is he ready? In this case, experience speaks to age and life experience, not how many years in office. Besides, there is NO office like the POTUS so in reality, everyone who walks into the Oval Office is a newbie. At least Hillary we know won’t get lost going from room to room. I think Obana has the potential to be a great Prez. Maybe not just right now.

I like Edwards from what I’ve seen, but he, too, hasn’t really been under assault. He got some good experience running as VP, but that’s limited in scope. He has a few more years under the belt than Obana, but doesn’t seem to show it well.

Biden is a sort of senior statesman. I confess, I know little about him other than him taking a position now and then. But if he gets the nomination, he gets my vote. I think the others are just flexing their muscles.

When Nixon ran against first McGovern and then Humphrey, his campaign was far superior than his opponents. Doesn’t that say something about each side? The Dems got my vote each time, but I could see they were overmatched. Which brings us to our batch of candidates. Who’s got the best campaign? Doesn’t that bode well for a well constructed administration? I’m not saying that, yet, but it is food for thought. If you can’t run a campaign correctly, can you run the Presidency?

entertainers’ opinions or endorsements are about as useful as rush limbaugh’s. neither has a degree in political science. if a singer endorses a democrat, people say ’shut up and sing’. if a rightwhiner on the radio endorses one, well, that’s ok. he does that for a living. does sean hannity have a degree in government? does glenn beck have a degree in economics?

michael bolton, on the other hand, i trust to tell me the truth.
