Just got off the phone with Gunga Den, I told him to run for the hills!

Jed,

7.7!! Wow, hope all are okay.

Terrible news. I hope so much that the hurricane will die down. Even one casualty is one too many.

latest from the fams is that no one injured… family wise anyway. Not been able to reach the north by phone, lines constantly busy. An aunt in santiago says all have been accounted for in the family and property damage was minimal… thank God. We were lucky in that the zone where it his is sparsely populated. Thanks for the concern.

DirtyDennis | 11/15/2007, 5:55 pm EST

Thoughts with you and them. Glad to hear the good.

Jed
Didn’t know you have kin in India.

DWM, take notes. Jed is from Chili. That’s why I used 7.7. Where else would I pass on my concern?

Delta Wild Man | 11/16/2007, 10:04 am EST

DD & JED
Sorry, I was staying on topic with regards to cyclone sidr.
Never dawned on me that something happened in Chili.
Was reading the Jewish News most of the past two days with regards to Armageddon starting..

I hope we all understand that Israel is not going to let Iran get nukes.
Now Israel will be more than willing to share a few of the nukes they have with Iran..
But I don’t think Iran is going to like that very much.

Jed-

Best wishes to your family.

Jed Clampett | 11/16/2007, 11:14 am EST

thanks guys, apperciate the concern.

This is just one of several large earthquakes that have been hitting the region lately. A couple of months ago a similar quake hit peru with much more devastating consequences. Seems to me they should adopt the Inca’s building practices.

Jed Clampett | 11/16/2007, 4:33 pm EST

another large one hit peru today. I wonder if this is at all related to that meteorite that landed in peru a couple of months back that made people sick when they got close to investigate.
