“The Bloodlust of Islamic Terrorists”

11/7/07, 5:55 pm EST

This is why Pat Robertson is endorsing Rudy.

I think what gets lost in all the flap over Giuliani’s support of abortion rights and his, well, deviance from social conservative orthodoxy on issues like gay rights and cross dressing, is the fact that he frames his warmongering in explicitly religious terms.

This is not the Bush ecumenical War on Terror. In Rudy’s eyes, “Islamic terrorists are at war with us… They want to kill us… They hate you.”

For all his bad marriages and worse adulteries, he’s a Holy Warrior at heart.

Which, at the end of the day, is why he’s stolen Pat Robertson’s:

Here’s another example of a terror attack..
It’s making children’s toys in china, using LEAD BASE PAINT AND DATE RAPE DRUGS..
AND WHO EXPECTS US TO BELEIVE THIS IS AN ACCIDENT??

Jed Clampett | 11/8/2007, 12:04 pm EST

WOW!!! this is bleak.

I believe what Mr. Robertson is saying is that Rudy will be the most appropiate to further their agenda of global conflict in order to precipitate armaggedon and the destruction of earth so they can go home… wherever that perceived home might be.

This so called ‘christian’ that has called for the assasination of Hugo Chavez and has attributed social problems to God’s punishment for Moral shortcomings is now endorsing a cross dressing war monger intent on turning a conflict with a ragtag band of criminals into a clash of cultures and religions large enough to rival any previous global conflict.

Have any of you been in a war? do you know the types of scarecity, disease and moral turpitude that rise to the forefront during a war? Do you realize that a global conflict will cause famine and anguish in all the world, not just the countries engaged?

Realize that the republicans are intent on bringing us to a global war via the fast track. While I’m not convinced that the democrats, at least a couple of them, are truly committed to preventing an escalation of the conflict, I do feel they would do a better job to get us prepared to effectively face the forces of war that have already been unleashed on our planet and might still lead us to global carnage once again.

Coach | 11/8/2007, 12:28 pm EST

Imagine that, a religiouis fraud supporting a warmonger…….REALLY?
I guess Robertson showed his true colors this time. I guess homosexuality and abortion aren’t what concerns him most. Blowing the sh*t out of people is his biggest concern, and Guiliani is more than happy to oblige him.

I’ll say it again: Republicans are, in actuality, the party of death, unless you’re still in the womb. THAT and THAT alone are reason enough to stop people from voting for them….unless, ofcourse, you’re a bigot, or a racist, or an elitist…..

David... | 11/8/2007, 2:44 pm EST

Who cares who or what Pat Robertson endorses? We all know the man is a bigot and only in it for the money. Unfortunately there are a lot of religious people who will take him at face value. Sad.

People say he and Rudy are in bed. (Lord knows that Rudy seems to have slept with everyone else!) LOL!

Billy Graham
Jerry Falwell … check
Pat Robertson
Fred Phelps
James Dobson

Sigh, so many left to go…

ray | 11/9/2007, 12:31 pm EST

Checklist, Billy Graham shouldnt be on the same list with Pat, Dobson and Falwell. Billly Graham is a real Evangelist and has done a great job spreasding the Gosphel and insiring people world wide.

Merkwurdigliebe | 11/9/2007, 12:59 pm EST

yeah, Billy Graham has more personal integrity than a lot of other so called “televagelists” out there…at least he’s walked the walk and talked the talk, unlike so many others

as for Rudy and Islamic terrorists, they do exist, i guess because Pat Robertson endorses him that means it gives Rudy tacit approval for a holy war…strange thing is, I have yet to hear the democrats say anything meaningful about how they are going to combat terrorism and general anarchy in the global south…the paradigm has shifted, but most of the democrats either have willingly ignored it or are just ignorant/naive, such as Obama wanting to unilaterally invade Pakistan for whatever reason, it worked real well with Iraq (and the repubs, save Ron Paul, arent much better)

Jed Clampett | 11/9/2007, 1:33 pm EST

when exactly did Obama call for unilateral INVASION of Iraq? Are you trying to disseminate missinformation or are you just convinced by O’really?

What Obama has said is that if he has actionable, dependable intelligence indicating there is a chance to strike Bin Laden within pakistan and the pakistanis don’t act on our requests, he would be willing to send in a drone to kill the guy. Same thing that was done by the Bush admin a few months back when they thought they were hitting Al-Zawahiri.

I can understand the confusion, Bush said he would use the authorization for military force against Iraq merely for Diplomatic effect, but used it immediately as approval to invade iraq without even the legal formality of a declaration of war.

markusp | 11/9/2007, 5:54 pm EST

I wonder if Pat Robertson was fasting again and this is another of his hallucinations. After fasting and hallucinating early this year, he predicted a massive terror attack in the United States, “sometime in the fall”. Guiliani is nothing more than Bush in NYC clothing, and will engage in what repugnicans do best — warmongering so their buddies can make massive, no-contest profits!

Coach | 11/9/2007, 6:05 pm EST

Merk: “as for Rudy and Islamic terrorists, they do exist”.

OK, it’s time for a little perspective. It’s time for people to shelve this whole ‘terrorism’ and ‘islamo-fascist’ talk. It would be VERY easy to disassociate ourselves from any future threat if we weren’t in bed with them. So, Merk. To address your ‘pimping’ of terrorism, how do you really expect to EVER rid yourself of the percieved threat if America is so vested in the region?
In other words, stop doing business with, and supporting, the very people you claim to be the enemy.

As for the threat of these terrorists, China, and their capability with consumable exports, can inflict an astronomically higher amount of damage than any suicide bomber. And, who do we owe so much money to because of this charade in Iraq, and soon to come, Iran? Yes, that’s right, China………

But, some people don’t feel comfortable unless we have people roaming the globe with M-16s……

So, Merk, please, a little perspective is in order.

Delta Wild Man | 11/10/2007, 1:10 pm EST

Once Again,,
I don’t remember Jerry Falwell telling me I couldn’t smoke as I left his church,, and Pat Robertson ain’t trying to tell me what kind of car I can drive..
The Moral Majority ain’t got nothing on the SMOKING NAZIs and the TRANS-FAT NAZIs

Delta Wild Man | 11/10/2007, 1:12 pm EST

not to mention the GREEN NAZIs

Bender | 11/10/2007, 9:52 pm EST

Sure thing Delta…as if Robertson and Falwell AREN’T telling you things you can and cannot do. It’s all a matter of what you think is appropriate for governmental control.

But, for somebody’s record: what is wrong with government eliminating toxic crap from the market? Toxic meaning Big Macs and cigarettes and carbon emissions? What’s so wrong with it? But, you’d rather have them telling us who we can and can’t sleep with? Hmmm.

vince vega | 11/11/2007, 2:43 am EST

Delta Wild man,

If you act according to a non-green ideology, we will imprison you. This shouldn’t be too different from the ideology you’re currently living under: that if you act according to a non-law abiding ideology we will imprison you.

You don’t seem to whine with each law passed. Why now?

vince vega | 11/11/2007, 2:45 am EST

Let me put it into layman’s terms,

Why do you object to green laws?

Delta Wild Man | 11/11/2007, 7:30 pm EST

vince
You a phuking nazi too??
eeeeww your speaking real scary..

Got a little advice for ya..
When you go back to your cell today, why not ask bubba, instead of you being the “mama” of the cell, you’d like to be the “daddy” of the cell, then you can bend over and let bubba show you a trick.

Delta Wild Man | 11/11/2007, 7:35 pm EST

Bender
I agree, to a point,,
I’d like to apply for the “GOD” position..
That way I can be the one who tells folks who can or who can’t,,
what you can and what you can’t eat..
The seat belt law for minors is a great idea..
However, over 80% of fatalities in auto accidents is due to head trauma..
I think we need a helment law for cars as well as a seat belt law..
Also, we understand that not everyone can afford auto insurance,, thus, we need to nationalize auto insurance too

“If you act according to a non-green ideology, we will imprison you. This shouldn’t be too different from the ideology you’re currently living under: that if you act according to a non-law abiding ideology we will imprison you.”

Vince, we need to put you in a place where you won’t be near sharp objects.

Metal Shawn G | 11/18/2007, 4:25 am EST

“If you act according to a non-green ideology, we will imprison you.”

That’s a good idea. But I think we should begin, however, with my idea of imprisoning idiots!
