Just a Note on Invevitability

10/15/07, 10:25 pm EST

From an October 17, 2003 WaPo story:

Democratic voters are divided over their choices for the nomination. In Iowa, Rep. Richard A. Gephardt (Mo.) and former Vermont governor Howard Dean were running roughly even with each other (27 percent to 26 percent). Sen. John F. Kerry (Mass.) was the only other Democrat to hit double digits in that state (16 percent).

In New Hampshire, Dean held a solid lead over Kerry (38 percent to 21 percent), with retired Gen. Wesley K. Clark the only other Democrat in double digits (11 percent).

id like to see Obama get competitve again, but if not ill have no problem voting for Hillary. The GOP lost me with Bush i like Huckabee but Bohener, Tangrudo, local Republicans and the Bush supreme court turn me off. The Democrat 08

come now delta:-),
the dems continually find mor and more creative ways to through victory over a cliff.
it’s still the year defore the year…time enough for mr. obama to get back on meds, engage in extensive therapy, and perhaps save his senate seat.

hey…what’s up with my typos! see what i mean about democrats!!!

do you really think hillary is going to make the same mistakes dean did? i’m pretty sure she doesn’t uniform her out of state volunteers in iowa with orange vests and hats, and i don’t think we’ll hear too much screaming. obama might have the talent to pull himself into competition, but hillary’s not going to give anything away, at least as long as she’s got her husband on a short leash.

As Hillary once said,,
” I be no way’s tired “..
And who would have thunk,,
all those chinese motel workers,, cleaning the bathrooms.. opening them doors,, cooking that egg foo young,, would be able to donate all that money to Hillary..
Starting to sound like something old Al Gore got cought doing..
” I knew them chinese monks didn’t have that much money to give to their white house cause,, I knew it was the chinese gubment, all the time ”
I wonder why red china like hillary so much??

Our culture is so afraid of its own shadow, it’s no doubt that we are left with the Coke versus Pepsi choice that we are.

Just a note on inevitability – my next post will get censored by Rollingstone because it’s not P.C.

I knew it. Wouldn’t let me post the word: n_ i G g e _ R Eventhough it’s the title of an album that the magazine actively promotes.

Ole,

That’s sure discouraging. I see nothing to indicate that RS is doing ANYTHING to correct the problem. I doubt this blog is a cash cow for them so, why should they? Perhaps Uncle Mac is/was right about going. I’ve been tempted to a number of times but things have never been SO bad. Do you know a comparable site? NOT a conservative site, either.

As to the ‘issue,’ perhaps we should develop some euphemisms. Reversing the letters of yours creates reggin. Does that work for you?

Let Them Eat Cake | 10/22/2007, 9:41 pm EST

The conservatives have so little to work with and it’s never more evident than in Delta Wild Man’s political “humor”(?)

Much more time with GOP Fascism in control, and the rest of us won’t have much to laugh about, either!

Delta Wild Man is spot on about Hillary. The woman IS corrupt, has a long history of being corrupt, and will continue to be corrupt in the future. Unrestrained ambition clouds her judgement. I don’t understand how any real liberal can support her. She’s just as moneygrubbing and powermad as Bush/Cheney, and DON’T YOU PEOPLE WANT A CHANGE? There has been a Bush or a Clinton either in the White House or a heartbeat away since 1981. Enough is enough.

DirtyDennis | 10/23/2007, 3:13 pm EST

Mike,

Spot on? Please elaborate. Corruption is usually illegal, so if she IS corrupt and you know about it, then so too, one would think, does just about every D.A. East of the Mississippi. I missed hearing about the trial(s). Fill us in.

Unless, of course, you’re talking about the Whitewater business, or whatever you want to call it, down AR way. Seems to me the Cons went to a LOT of trouble trying to come up with a ‘crime’ there with out much success. She was probably guilty of something there, but I don’t think it was a crime.

Besides, we’re talking about her as a U.S. Senator. That’s where I’d be interested to hear of all her corruption and why it hasn’t been more publicized.
