MR. DELTAWILDMAN:
Hey man, just so you know, I think you’ve got your Caps Lock on. You might want to do something about that.
It's easier to just ignore him | 7/30/2007, 7:53 pm EST
As ironic as it is (his name begins with delta after all), I doubt he will ever change. Instead, just dont bother with his comments.
Merkwurdigliebe | 7/30/2007, 10:51 pm EST
here’s rub kiddies– Gonzales has been sufficiently vague enough in his answers that it’ll be tough to pin him down
and if muller breaks his mum stance, which he’ll have to if hes called to testify…fughettaboutit!
b tw democratic congress, other than raising the minimum wage, you dont seem to have done much…meet the new boss, same as the old boss i guess
DELTAWILDMAN | 7/31/2007, 8:54 am EST

C U in Hell | 7/31/2007, 11:45 am EST
Kind of missed the whole SARCASM there, DIDN’T YA??? Jesus, are you dense.
Although now that you mention it, you’re right, I don’t think I understood you’re point either.

C U.
Well get the crayons out, and draw this picture..
Or better yet,, complete this sentence..
” WHAT HAVE THE DEMOCRATS DONE FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OVER THE LAST 7 MONTHS?? ”
That’s the point I’m trying to make..
Jed Clampett | 7/31/2007, 1:33 pm EST
ok, let’s pull out the crayons.
Democrats need a 60% majority in both houses to push through any agenda they might have, without that, they are prevented from doing anything by a republican’t party which is intent on not letting them accomplish anything in order to prove they are innefective(much like al-qaeda is doing in Iraq to us). In other words, politics and the pursuit of control of lawmaking takes precedence over doing the peoples business.
The people gave the democrats a majority because they are sick of the stupidity of the war, the dems try to put in legislation to bring the troops home and they are faced with a filibuster and a presidential veto.
They try to re-fund SCHIP, they are filibustered and vetoed. Same thing with any other legislation. Is it the democrats fault? I guess it is because they aren’t using the bribes of earmarks to change some republican votes, seems that is the only thing republicans respond to.
It’s very easy for a spin machine to pull the wool over the eyes of those who aren’t really paying attention or want to be fooled. The rest of us who are paying attention realize where the negative energy comes from, we know where the corruption is concentrated, we understand who has the pubics interest at heart and who is only interested in helping their cronies. In a logical world, the Republican party would have been disbanded a long time ago when they stole the elections with the watergate scandal. Or over the undemocratic way the elections in Florida were carried out.
Unfortunatelly, here in Bizarro world, that is not the case.
What can you expect from a race that puts so much more value on a black, dead liquid buried long ago to contain it’s destructive influence and so little value in the amazing liquid that gives us life and makes all life possible on this planet.
I Got You Bender...... | 7/31/2007, 3:50 pm EST
Once again, the whole point of the so-called ‘lies’ isn’t being addressed. The Dems ‘promised’ to do something about the culture of corruption. They are doing something. They introduce legislation every single day that gets vetoed or filibustered. So, yes, Deltawackjob, you’re right. They ‘lied’ to YOU. They didn’t lie to everybody, like you’re spinning. Sure, impeachment would be an extreme step. And, sure, Bush deserves it. And, sure, that’s what we all want. Nonetheless, they’ve tried to bring the troops home. They’ve tried to change the policies of the Patriot Act. They’ve tried to push immigration through. And, everything they’ve tried to do, has been blocked by the rePUBElicans in the Senate. The problem lies in the fact that we all knew this would happen. So, it makes sense to give the President everything he wants, while starting the impeachment process. Downside, is nothing gets done during impeachment hearings. Ironically, though, nothing CAN get done because of the partisanship played on the rePUBElican side. But, somehow the Dems have been spun into the faulty party. And, it’s only been 7 months.
Hey Delta, other than impeachment, which they’re going to try with Gonzales, what did you honestly expect them to be ABLE to do??? Quit swimming in the shallow end.
DELTAWILDMAN | 7/31/2007, 7:23 pm EST
LET THERE BE SPIN
Word | 7/31/2007, 10:54 pm EST
Hey delta idiot,
Hearings on what Gonzales knows could turn up what probably happened: that Ashcroft objected in March 2004 to the fact that the Republicans were using the NSA and terrorist surveillance capabilities to spy on the Democrats in order to win the 2004 election. A high tech Watergate.
This would lead to the impeachment of Bush. Just what they promised.
Drown sucker drown. Heh.
Merkwurdigliebe | 8/1/2007, 12:05 am EST
bush wont be impeached…and i dont know if gonzales will be either…
the democrats have to know that they cant get a majority to pursue impeachment of either person, so they’ll play it safe and milquetoast–throw up as many investigations as possible to create the appearance of business on capital hill…only problem their shits for sale, and we the people aint buyin–enough is enough, let the term limits begin i say
the time is ripe for a third party take over! im pretty sure theres a lot of fed up republicans and democrats who want stuff to get done as opposed to partisan bickering that only serves to fill the coffers of fat cats–i got news people…those of you who thought the democrats would be radically different are now waking up eh?
Dr. Ralph | 8/1/2007, 4:09 pm EST
I thought the demo’s were going to change the world when they got in office… stop the war… decriminalize pot… oh wait only Dr. Paul wants to do those things. A Republican.
Jed Clampett | 8/1/2007, 5:37 pm EST
Hey, I thought republicans were all about making us safe and prosperous. Instead they turned iraq into a battlefield and the best terrorist training camp Bin-Laden could have dreamed of. The only ones becoming more prosperous are those that didn’t really need it in the first place. you must be so proud as you scramble for the bread crumbs your leadership tosses at you to keep you compliant.
BTW ron paul is a libertatian, he is merely using the republicant party because we can only have two parties in this ‘democratic’ republic of 200 million. I guess 200 million people can only have 2 different ways of looking at things. When did the US become binary? shouldn’t we be decimal?
I Got You Bender... | 8/2/2007, 7:22 pm EST
Hey Ralph DDS, the Senate just sent an ethics bill to the President that he’s threatening to veto. The Dems promised ethics reform, sent him a bill that overwhelmingly passed through the Senate, and if the President vetoes it, you’ll blame the Democrats, right?????? Get out of the sandbox little boy.
Merkwurdigliebe | 8/2/2007, 11:23 pm EST
the “ethics” reform is filled with loopholes, and the clause giving a partisan majority leader, of WHICHEVER party in power, total say over what is and is not pork reeks
and Harry Reid has the gall to incredulously say that it is “ludicrous” that a politician, of all people, would NEVER lie or abuse their post for monetary gain…HAH! if you believe that, i’ve got a bridge in brooklyn i’ll sell ya too…and does anyone else think that an institution that is, at the moment, incredibly riddled with corruption (witness all the congressmen being indicted on various corruption charges) can or would pass some sort of effective legislation that would cut limit their money faucets?
ugh, elect ron paul and institute term limits allready
I Got You Bender.... | 8/3/2007, 1:36 pm EST
Term Limits. Public funding for campaigns. Eliminate lobbying. Add more voting……..like, possibly, voting for or against an invasion. Another great addition to our constitution would be the inclusion of the old greek law that allowed the public to vote OUT the worst cabinet member. Gee, which one in the White House would go first……????

If the Goose-stepping Republicans would get out of WhimpParkSouth, maybe the legislation the Dems are trying to get through would Actually make it…
The Repubes backbite about ‘ole Bush/Cheney/Rove policies but never have the guts or smarts to stand up to Junior Simples and fight to make our Country a Democracy, again…
These “Patriots” are too worried about Careers over Country and being Cut-off from the Neo-con trough…(Too much personal war-profiteering, perks from oil/insurance/pharmaceutical companies to take an Independent Stand against Bush Criminal Corporation ties).
Seventy or seventy-five per cent of the Country want lobbyists gone, the “Bushwhack war in Iraq”
ended, the tax-cuts for the wealthy Gone and our Infra-structure back(schools, roads, bridges, health care, military benefits, disaster programs Refunded, adequate police and fire departments.(You know, Competency and Organization, Capable appointees and “Leadership”…)
Someone to stop the “Republican Party” from going even more Fascist than they already have…
The Dems are trying but they need to get the fat-cat Repubes and Southern Demos to take their hands out of the Money Pot and start being Representatives of the American People and Not Fascist Corporate….Put those hands in voting against BushDum legislation(Sacrifice, courage and, a Clean-up are required)-stop reacting to the Neo-Con Fear Flag-it’s been flyin frantic since BushDum stole in-stop responding to it…
