Fred Thompson: Abortion Rights Lobbyist – Los Angeles Times
If this story sticks, I don’t see how it isn’t fatal for ol’ Fred.
Not seeking to criminalize abortion might be one thing.
Lobbying for an abortion rights group!?
Fun while it lasted, tho.

Not so fast. Let’s see the billing records first.
If the abortion group and the report who wrote the story can produce them, then you’re probably right.
If not, it’s just more Clintonista lies and another Fredophobic hitpiece.
My money’s on the latter.

typo: report -> reporter

…and then Rolling Stoned woke up and Fred was prez. Damn that must have been some good shit! Sorry Hitlery, sorry Obama nation, sorry ambulance chasers…

Haha…Conservatives have such a hard on for this moron that they’ll overlook just about anything he’s done in his past as long as he says he’s repented and changed his ways.
Capitalist Pig | 7/7/2007, 8:46 pm EST
Fred has got you liberals quaking in your boots. Let the smear campaign begin. I agree with Strum, let’s see some proof. The fact that some left wingers who do not want Fred in the White House say it happened does not make it so.

“I don’t know anybody on the left that gives her half as much thought as the right does.”
Ya got that right.

Christ, this has become such predictable drivel. Learn a new trick!

dosent matter unless the media (mainstream, that is) picks it up and runs with it. None of the news channels will cover it because they still have a hard-on about that pro wrestler thing. so it goes.
Jed Clampett | 7/9/2007, 9:18 pm EST
You’re right, the media isn’t going to pick it up because they know what side their bread is buttered on. Fred is looking more and more like their secret weapon and the only chance for them to keep their media monopolies.
C Co... aka I Smell Propaganda | 7/10/2007, 12:27 am EST
The media won’t pick it up because they fall under the category of “professional journalism” which demands double-checking information and providing a factual background. “Journalism” on the internet doesn’t require such checks, ala Tim can post something that may or may not be true as long as it fits his agenda. You have to be very foolish to automatically believe in information posted on internet sources (particularly political blogs).
Jed Clampett | 7/10/2007, 8:36 am EST
so how do you explain Fox News? they have no problem reporting over 7 thousand cases of TB in the last 3 years when the count is actually 30 years. Na, they won’t pick it up because they know they want the republicans to win so they can keep building their monopolies.

… just keep following the money…
Let Them Eat Cake | 7/11/2007, 1:25 am EST
The media “falls under the category” of signed, sealed and, delivered ala the pharmaceutical companies, the insurance companies and, not to forget, the oil companies. Made possible by journalistic input from the White House/Karl Rove/ Dick cheney.
Presenting the “News” 2007 Version…

Yeah by the way, FOX doesn’t do original reporting on most of its stories. It simply picks those that push its world view: that which makes Murdoch Money.
Keep conning yourselves…

If Fred Thompson cannot make a decision to run for President how can we trust hime with our nuclear stockpiles in the future. He would hesitate to defend our nation during a first strike.

it seams to me that the actors in todays world would like to see how far they can actoualy go in todays political world. fred needs to know that if he dose make it that his acting career will go away for the two years he has. but honestly…havn’t all our presidents been actors?
