You can now add the name of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman to your list. 7yrs, 10months for bribery, conspiracy, mail fraud, and obstruction of justice. His accomplis Richard Scrushy, former CEO of HealthSouth, got just under 7yrs. But, wait…Siegelman is dumbacrat…and we all know that a dumbacrat would not take a bride from a CEO (A CEO fired after a $1.7 billion accounting scandal). Seems Scrushy got appointed to the state board that regulates hospitals, he was the CEO of a health care firm, but the thing is he was appointed after paying the governor $500,000. But…no it can’t be…dumbacrats don’t do such things.

not enough time if you ask me. The Aztecs had it right, they should take them to the top of a pyramid and just cut their hearts out. Those creatures will always be greedy and will never think in terms of the benefit of the many being more important than the greed of a corrup few.
Speaking of corrupt individuals… did anyone catch the story about Gulianni’s friend getting busted for half a kilo of cokaine? He claims it wasn’t for selling, just for sharing with his friends(yea right)… I wonder how much of that Ruddi shoved up his nose… perhaps he was having a little trouble raising cash and decided to do a DeLorean.

Hey, what’s up with the sidebar colors, did you RS get hacked by the rainbow coalition?

“Dumbacrats!” Oh, man, what a slam! Did you think of that yourself, “Capitalist Pig,” you fucking lame-ass?

Dig this, moron: the idea for the Siegelman prosecution was hatched by Karl Rove and four Alabama GOP bigwigs. It was politically motivated and corrupt all the way through (which is why the judge decided to use the 25 charges of which Siegelman was ACQUITTED in the sentencing), and I have a feeling it will be overturned just as soon as the civilized world gets wind of what these Alabama rednecks have been up to.

An interesting fact about the Siegelman case: Dana Jill Simpson, a Republican lawyer who blew the whistle on the whole plot when she confessed in an affidavit that it was politically motivated, had her house burned to the ground and her car driven off the road and totaled. That’s justice in Alabama for you, and that’s pretty much what justice will look like for the rest of us as long as Republicans stay in power.

That would be a great game. In the past 8 years gather up all the politicians who are in jail or who was sentenced to jail. Then compare the list by Republican and Democrat. Who would have more? We can add Libby for right now.

C U in Hell – Talk about a moron, you need to look in the mirror. I am sure Karl Rove was really worried about a one term governor who had been out of office for three years and no chance in hell of getting re-elected. Hell he could not even win the dumbacrat nominations in 2006 against Lucy Baxley, and Gov. Riley wiped the floor with her ass. Two years into Siegelman’s term people here were calling him Don SingleTerm.

Oh and I am sure the $500,000 Scrushy gave him had nothing to do with appointing Scrushy to the state board that oversees hospitals. And I am sure there is no conflict of interest when the CEO of one of the nation’s largest health care company’s sits on the oversight board for health care. After all they are dumbacrats and they were looking out for what is best for the people.

And I am really sure Scrushy knew nothing about the $2.7 Billion accounting fraud at HealthSouth, but Ken Lay of course new everything at Enron. Keep on deluding yourself, fool.

Well, that almost worked. To hell with it. Just google “Justice in Alabama” and click the top link.

So… now this administration is not only torturing, spying on its own people, locking citizens up without trial, etc… it’s now engaged in political prosecutions.

It’s like the Republican party took a look at the Soviet Union and said “hey we want to be like that!”

Funny all the cons who hailed Reagan for defeating the Soviets are now responsible for turning the United States into the new Soviet Union. Nice.

But that’s what happens when you entrust power to idiots. You can be sure the cons won’t learn this lesson.

But if the gloves are gonna come off like this the south is long overdue for another Sherman’s march…

Haven’t seen any of the Extreme Criminals from Bushdum get anything over a couple of years-even though Federal High Crimes were their Expertise…(Most have either Resigned with no penalty(DeLay/Ney)or disappeared/”passed”(Lay)and most of Bush’s administration…

Surprised the Demo didn’t get “Life”…

Scooter must be Sorry for his Crimes-has millions to help him forget.(Who is goofy enough to accept the name- “Scooter”? Only Bushdum could provide these flesh-eaters…
