Jealous Much?

6/26/07, 5:09 pm EST

I guess it was too hard for Ann Coulter to watch her liberal media doppelganger Michael Moore hog the spotlight.

Now the vicious vixen is wishing aloud for a terrorist assassination of John Edwards. All the better for Edwards’ quarter-closing fundraising campaign, it would seem.

But really. What is it with Coulter and Edwards… this virulent Barbie hates Ken thing?

My best guess is that Edwards makes an easy proxy target. Rabid rightwingers can no longer safely call Hillary the B word, much less call Obama the N word (although that hasn’t stopped Rush from calling him a Negro), but you can still get away with calling Edwards a “faggot.” And apologize for it by voicing your deathwishes for him on Good Morning America.
What do you think?

There’s a good reason why I chose the screen name that I did!

Ann Coulter wants a mouthful of vaginal fluid.

Rorshach | 6/26/2007, 11:39 pm EST

ugh, most of the time she IS a mouthful of vaginal fluid, and at best she is a shrill, harping trollop…

C Co... aka I Smell Propaganda | 6/26/2007, 11:42 pm EST

Wow, shocking stuff Tim. Any reports, articles, quotes, or ya know SOURCES to really show what she said (and its context) or should we just take your word on everything Coulter? Hate doesn’t need a source I guess.

I’m not a big fan of Ann, but considering that you do more political hack jobs and spread more propagandistic scum than anyone you might want to think about stepping off that high horse and looking at yourself in the mirror. Just because you’re more PC and lack a popularized reputation doesn’t make you any better than her.

Word | 6/26/2007, 11:51 pm EST

Tbe only reason this fascist nymphomaniac act is on the air is that she gets ratings.

She’s an act and she’s wearing sunglasses to acknowledge the fact. Only a con would be so stupid as to take her shit seriously.

Keep conning yourselves…

Word | 6/26/2007, 11:54 pm EST

Oh and faulting a reporter for not providing context for something that happened about 5 seconds after it was posted is pure stupidity; the reader themselves is supposed to provide the context.

Propaganda sniffer you’re acting like the deadbeats at the place I work: covering up their own laziness by accusing their bosses of not directing them closely enough. I pity the fool who grants you an internship…

Word | 6/27/2007, 12:05 am EST

My bad: “something that was posted 5 seconds after it happened” was what I meant.

What do I think? | 6/27/2007, 2:29 am EST

I think YOU’RE jealous much of the harpy’s book sales. I also think, like everyone outside of the Edwards campaign, that John Edwards has as much chance of getting the nomination as you do of winning a Pulitzer.

If it weren’t for this blog, we’d never hear anything about Edwards. I do think he has an excellent future as a game show host. That hair was created (cost $400) for one reason only, to be on a daytime TV. Either a game show or co-host of Good Morning, Charlotte.

BTW, it’s been two weeks since you’ve done a smear on John Thompson. Are you okay?

calvinlovessuzy | 6/27/2007, 9:40 am EST

I think she’s got a crush on John, and this is her pre-adolescent way of getting his attention.

Ambulance Chasers for Edwards | 6/27/2007, 12:54 pm EST

Elizabeth Edwards called in to Hardball to challenge Ann Coulter not to use any more “personal attacks” against her husband. Yes, that’s the way to rebut charges of wimpery: Send your wife to beg people to stop hitting you.

Jed Clampett | 6/27/2007, 3:57 pm EST

once again you show your lack of reading comprehension or even basic grasp of reality, all irrelevant when all you do is blindly defend a loosing proposition of course, but still amazing to see.

First of all, Mrs. Edwards wasn’t sent by her husband to do anything, as I remember it, even the wife of a presidential candidate has a right to speak their mind.
Second, since you are one of the polluters you probably wouldn’t choose to understand that what Mrs. Edwards was saying is that she is poisoning the political waters with her rhetoric and stupidity. You know, it is usually the people with the lowest IQ who resort to insults and belittling others, which is why the republicant’s so like her and hate academics and intelligent people.

Ambulance Chasers for Edwards | 6/27/2007, 5:19 pm EST

You know it’s people who can’t match wits who WHINE about insults and belittling people. Voltaire, Samuel Johnson, The Onion, Bill Maher, Hunter Thompson, PJ O’Rourke, Michael Moore, The Daily Show etc ALL use(d) them. Try and keep up.

You know for a fact Mrs E. WASN’T sent in by her husband while he was busy at the salon?
The only time he raises significant money is when the Edwards camp raises the boogeyman of Ann Coulter to beat the bushes for suckers with cash to donate. Doing it, coincidentally, right before the end of the fundraising quarter.

I see you’re still stuck in the black and white/ us and them thinking that all who disagree with you are some kind of monolithic “other”. Whatever impresses down at the coffee shop, dude!

Dr. Ralph | 6/27/2007, 7:44 pm EST

Being the generous type I’m willing to give Ann Coulter whatever it is she needs… maybe with a mouthful she’ll shut up for a minute or two, and Edwards’ wife can beg for his mercy.

David | 6/27/2007, 8:31 pm EST

Amazing how Ann comes bounding out of her cave everytime FOX news needs a spokesperson filled with venom.

Cut the crap. Do they think we’re stupid? A bigot is a bigot.

Back to the cave, Ann

Jed Clampett | 6/27/2007, 9:50 pm EST

people with wits can usually find good debate without having to resort to insults, dissembling, and all those other tactics implemented by the basest of society. If you feel it is a valid tactic, then it’s obvious where the banaal nature of your arguments comes from.

Do you have any proof Edwards did prod her to call? My instinct says she called even though she knew the election team would be upset at the unnecessary publicity. Frankly she should have just kept to herself, you can’t coax those that exude darkness into seeing the light. you can’t get an evil person to do a nice thing, unless they see some benefit for themselves in the future.

‘Monolithic other’??? what the hell are you talking about? Having reading comprehension problems again? Of course!!

Warmed Up | 6/28/2007, 10:18 am EST

She better watch herself. Pretty soon, she’ll be considered an enemy combatant. I know, if the roles were reversed, and Michael Moore said he wished, say, Rudy Guiliani was the victim of a terrorist attack, Moore would be in front of some form of trial, tribunal, grand jury, supreme court judge……..She’s lost her mind, period.

J | 6/28/2007, 12:09 pm EST

Warmed Up- Bill Maher said, before Coulter, that he wishes Cheney would get killed in a terrorist attack, and ended up no where near a “trial, tribunal, grand jury, supreme court judge”. Don’t get me wrong, I hate Coulter as much as the next guy, but if you see the whole Hardall clip, Tim’s entry is utterly and completely out of context. Libel at its finest.

Therefore (by your own standards) you are witless, Jed.

“Warmed Up- Bill Maher said, before Coulter, that he wishes Cheney would get killed in a terrorist attack, and ended up no where near a ‘trial, tribunal, grand jury, supreme court judge’.”

How dare you try to implement the same standards of criticism in the All-Spin Zone?! Being fair and objective? Don’t make me laugh, you’re on a liberal-nutjob blog at RS.com.

Warmed Up | 6/28/2007, 5:09 pm EST

Hey Prop: Dick Cheney has signed off on policies that have deliberately killed hundreds of thousands of people. How many people has Edwards mandated to death? Degrees people…Fundamentally, Cheney SHOULD be put to trial. Edwards? What has he done to have someone say he should be killed? At least there’s a reason people would want Cheney dead – it’s called revenge.
Quit throwing darts Prop. Ofcourse, it’s only the unintelligent, juvenile ones who resort to name-calling, like “liberal-nutjob RS.com”. One day it would be nice to get an explanation as to how the liberals got labeled nutjobs and the conservative killers not labeled at all. Seems to me the term nutjob should be attatched to anything other than a liberal. But, that’s just me. Keep rooting for America. Keep insulting ‘nutjobs’. Good, really fucking good stuff.

J | 6/28/2007, 8:56 pm EST

I believe I addressed you as well Warmed Up…. Name calling, irrational BS, and unfounded insults/claims are bad coming from the left or the right… by the way, you sound as crazy as Coulter.

Ann Coulter Fans for Edwards,

I just picked earwax that is more intelligent than the shit you just wrote. “I mentioned, in passing, that she likes the Greatful Dead (and that this was further proof that Deadheads need to stay OUT OF politics).”

Along with spelling “grateful” wrong, you connected Coulter with Bill Maher, Rolling Stone and the Grateful Dead as part of your weird conspiracy theory that the liberals in the Edwards campaign are using Coulter because that’s the only way they can raise money. You didn’t mention the Grateful Dead in passing, you mentioned it because cons like you can’t even contemplate any sort of intelligent thought at all without associating it with hippie culture. It’s your way of not thinking and let me tell you, you’re good at it.

“Don’t get mad at me, it’s YOU, not America (the girl from Ugly Betty) that’s witless.”

2000-47.9% of voters vote for George Bush;
2003- 72 % of America supports the invasion of Iraq;
2004- 51% of voters vote for George Bush. AGAIN.

I never supported Bush or the invasion. And by the way, Bush got the republican nomination in 2000 AND won the presidency in 2004 by using “witless” attack ads and slander. It takes a majority of popular support to win both. Keep conning yourself…

Dr. Ralph | 6/29/2007, 10:12 pm EST

Yeah Ambulance Chaser, lay the hell off of HST and Voltaire. Brilliance such as they possessed comes along once every few generations. Dr. Gonzo is my hero and Volaire is my namesake. Read the preface to “Candide”… MOTHERFUCKER

Word | 6/30/2007, 2:22 am EST

Doc,

Voltaire would be laughing his ass off at your nimrod séance where you’re the high priest reviving that Frenchie’s long lost anti-democratic principles.
There’s a reason The Revolution was successful: capitalists like you.
Coulter could probably be bought with a mil and a barbed dildo. She’s already slept with everyone in Washington, why not let everyone in France take a stab. Eh?

Word | 7/2/2007, 2:50 pm EST

I blow dogs for nickels and, this week only, give change.
