I like Bloomberg better than Perot and Nader, yes Nader did good on consumer and safty issues, but he is anti Israel. Perot was a nut.

At least now I won’t have to vote for Hillary…

You act like Bloomberg was ever a Republican anyway. This is like Ryan Seacrest coming out of the closet. Let me be the first say
“No Kidding”

But is he running? I think I heard somewhere he actually said he wasn’t going to run.

Who gives a shit about this guy. All I have seen at the top of my Google page is Bloomberg. Who Cares?
This guy is a Hack with zero chance of winning a nomination of any party from Republican to Libertarian to the Green Party. Get him off the front page!

Hallzee–with 35% of registered voters self-identifying as Indepentdent, a VP candidate who is both conservative and anti-war, 23% approval for Congress and 30% approval for Bush, it is unwise to dismiss Bloomburg, and Unity ‘08 prepping to give $300 million in campaign money to a multi-party General Election ticket, I think it would be unwise to dismiss Bloomburg so quickly.
Turth is, we’ve never had an election under such dynamic circumstances and ‘08 could be the year the two-party system breaks. As a frequent critic of all sides of the aisle, I’d think you’d be a little peppier about the possiblities…

As a long-time independent, I applaud Mayor Bloomberg’s nonpartisanship, and we’ll see whether it’s more than a political ploy…
About the Bloomberg story: I recommend reading Jackie Salit’s “The Bloomberg Story” posted on my blog The Hankster for an inside take on the Mayor’s independence: “Actually, the record shows that Mike has become more conservative and less willing to go to bat for independents, the longer he has been in the political game. But, in the early days he took stands on behalf of independents in numerous situations.”

Just another Nader and I’m not impressed…
Vote for a third Party and see the ReupubliCons claw and cheat into office, again, and screw up the economy(watch the deficit mulitiply, start more wars, remove the remaining infra-structure and, Pander to Business at the expense of Working Americans.
Our country really can’t afford more greed and gigantic blunders…
Bloomberg/Nader Who?????
Wha? | 6/22/2007, 12:31 pm EST
There’s no proof/truth to the concept that Bloomburg would draw support away from Dems. He’s fiscally conservative and would share a ticket with ultra-conservative & anti-war Sen. Hegel. He might draw votes from Hillary but, more than likely, the bulk of his support would come from the middle and disenfranchised Goldwater Republicans. Talking to Dems I know, it seems the only Blue cadidate that might lose votes to Bloomie is Hillary…and, like her husband, she’s not a Democrat, anyways.

I guess he’s about as Republican as a New Yorker can be… which means not at all. But I’ll argue the point that Bubba was not a Democrat. William Jefferson is a fine example of the new democrat and even though he set policy with his ear to the latest poll it worked. For him and us.

Cake,
How come when Dems win an election they didn’t “Claw and Cheat” in to office, only the Republicans?
I have two words for why the Dems won that one stint in office. Ross Perot!

Have we learned nothing the last few years. Dims/Repubs are both part of the same problem. Time for new blood; either at the ballot box or in the street.

Bloomberg is the GOP’S wetdream…
Wha happened to that?
Who will he really drain off?
We need a Majority to get rid of the Regime…
Who wants anything “Conservative” at this stage? Look what a Mess they have made!
