Will you be my friend? I promise not to attack you in the future *wink*

I’m a big globalist(as much as a Libertarian could be), in fact, I read The Globalist, and it scares the hell out of me having some half wit, inarticulate representing our nation to the world. It’s bad enough having a goofy looking ass like Bolton, who has no tact and a lead tongue, representing us in the UN but Bush makes our nation into a joke. A statesmen should be eloquent, highly intelligent, and have a little character. I won’t list integrity—that’s too rare to be desirable, but at least the illusion of integrity. Even Bush’s advisers don’t fit this mold. The people of the world, rightly, judge the United States people by the quality of our leader. They know what democracy is and how it works, some of them desire it, but any of the more internationally savvy will be familiar with its workings. If the results of a democratic election aren’t up to snuff it’s the fault of the voters. Popular vote may not rule, but we weren’t even able to voice our opposition to an inadequate ruler, only our approval.

General Powell would have been a good choice, but, I think the current admin. pushed him out of any political aspirations, at least until they are long gone.
