A floating armada of fabulous people — headed by Pierce Brosnan and including Halle Berry, Cindy Crawford, Sting, Cher, Barbra Streisand, Charlize Theron and dozens of other A-listers — converged on a Malibu beach on Sunday to protest a proposed natural gas terminal. The action featured a gourmet pancake breakfast, sand-castle contest and what appears in this video to be several hundred kayakers attempting a “not allowed here” symbol, which ends up looking more like a squashed plum. Don’t miss an irate Daryl Hannah in cool shades and a super-articulate Ted Danson square his jaw against potential gas explosions. Not in their super-famous backyards!

I’d like to know how these blowhards heat the radiant floors and swimming pools at their Malibu mansions. How do their cooks heat their meals? NATURAL GAS. If not from their backyards, from someone elses.

Maybe you’d prefer ARNOLD telling how Mr. GREENjeans he is while getting lots of his campaign money from the OIL companies and, Bush White House…
Bet Arnold has lots of his own Natural Gas-Yew!

Those Tree-hugging celebrities love to preach clean energy, alternative fuels but a Natural Gas Terminal?
NIOB “Not In Our Backyard”
Babs blows enough gas to heat all of Malibu.
Hypocrits!

Thanks for the editing…
If you think the celebs are “Dangerous” because they are protesting “Natural Gas Facilites”, many Californians are very concered of the Celebs who are backing Arnold(The Oil Baby).
His “pledge” to go “Green” means little when he went after unions(teachers, firemen, police, nurses)and, has a Republican Plan to Gerrymander California so it looks like Texas.
It will quickly change to a Republican or Red state and that will not be Pretty…
The celebreties that are really concerned with the environment are addressing real concerns…
What’s the problem?

That’s where your money is going suckers… next time you feel like seeing a movie or renting a DVD, or buying music from one of these putzes, just eliminate the middleman and mail a check directly to any Middle Eastern Sheik of your choice.
Sanity | 10/25/2006, 11:44 am EST
Hahahaha. Squished plum. I like how the video cut back-and-forth between the protesting kayakers trying to make the symbol and the sign that actually pulled it off. SNL has to be all over this.
Hallzee | 10/25/2006, 11:45 am EST
Tea Leoni is so hot!
They are concerned about the beaches of Malibu and the people who enjoy them? PLEASE! Those Celebs have their own private beaches in Malibu that you and I would be sited for by Malibu’s Finest for even trying to set foot on. Hey Celebs, Get in your Hybrid and drive it past the photographers and flash a piece sign as sign of unity with the Earth on your way to Burbank Airport where your Private Jet is waiting.
Look I live here, and I surf and enjoy the ocean too, so I am also concerned about this project. I just get tired of these Hypocrits locking themselves to an Oak Tree to keep it from being removed. Unless of course that same Oak Tree hinders their view from their energy sucking mansion in the Malibu Hills.
eamon | 10/25/2006, 12:37 pm EST
what’s the matter, just because somebody’s famous they have to give up their right to protest? so what if they don’t want a gas plant in the ocean in their town….would you? the gas plant is a stupid idea, built on a fault line, utilizing untested technology. TERMINATE IT, ARNOLD!

“A floating armada of fabulous people…”
Ah, but famous doesn’t always equal fabulous. There are an equal number of bad, crazy, or misguided people in Hollywood as anywhere else. Their opinion is no more important than that of an average, middle-class American, just trying to get by.

Aloe Vera Distributor - myflp.org | 9/29/2009, 3:42 pm EST
Good evening .
I have something to say, about aloevera, something about which you wrote above, about health and vitamins… For a long time, I and my nice friend use the products of the flp company. We always see the nice results and also we earn money for our families and we are happy. My friend works with AloeVera in the company of forever living has more than 5 years (My friend works ONLY in the forever living company and has a wife and three children). I know Aloe vera products for nutritional for a long time, but a year ago, began working as a distributor in the FLP
Company.
Of course, the job is some difficult, but in no other case, you really can earn so much much money with so much fun and good smiling faces around..
So if you want to discuss something about your article, and about my experience with aloe Vera products for nutritional, I’ll always be glad to talk.
Best regards from Seattle and have a nice day!
Andrew – Aloe Vera Distributor
