Zach Galifianakis Choreographs Kevin Drew in 'You in Your Were'

Comedian and Feist co-star in Broken Social Scene co-founder's latest video

Zach Galifianakis knows there's only one way to score a hit record these days: Make a music video with lots and lots of dancing. The comedian brings his expertise in choreography and the music biz to the new clip for Kevin Drew's "You in Your Were," showing the Broken Social Scene co-founder exactly how it's done (all the while criticizing his confusing song titles). "I am into selling to the masses," Galifianakis rants, though not even Drew can stop himself from grinning. "If you're gonna sit here and sing your art shit, I'm not into it. Nobody likes good music anymore!"

Directed by Samir Rehem — who helmed the video for "Good Sex," also off Drew's new solo effort Darlings — the clip jumps between shots of Galifianakis teaching a collection of dancers some new moves, and Drew singing "You in Your Were" in a gorgeous open room while Galifianakis prances behind him, often in his underwear. Drew is also joined by a musician quite familiar with music videos featuring grand dance sequences, his former Broken Social Scene bandmate, Feist. The pair share some adorable moments as they perform their duet — like a piggy-back ride at the end of the clip — but the real magic comes when Galifianakis subs in for Drew and gets into some ferocious head-banging with Feist.

"You in Your Were" is hardly Galifianakis' first foray into music videos: The comedian appeared in My Morning Jacket's 2012 clip for "Outta My System," Fiona Apple's "Not About Love," and who can forget his turn in the alternate version of Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing." Always busy, Galifianakis is reportedly cowriting a TV pilot with Louis C.K. for an FX show he would also star in, and will appear alongside Will Ferrell in Richard Linklater's upcoming film, Larry's Kidney.
