Young Love Flourishes, Then Flounders in New Dinosaur Jr. Clip
Amherst indie-rockers drop video for 'Watch The Corners'

Fuzz-bombed indie heroes Dinosaur Jr. have a new video for their track "Watch The Corners," from their upcoming album, I Bet on Sky. The clip portrays young love between a grocery store employee and her blurry-faced beau as they embark on bouts of general adolescent mayhem – stealing booze; horsing around; shaking up two-liter bottles of cola, tossing them in the air and watching them explode – as our protagonist's concerned father (played by Tim & Eric's Tim Heidecker) watches anxiously from afar. But since this is indie rock, the heartbreak is inevitable. Luckily, Dad's there to save the day, and clearly the best revenge is toppling a display of mayonaise on the floor of the dairy aisle in front of the dude who's gotta clean it up.

I Bet on Sky is due September 18th on Jagjaguwar.
