On October 15th, outlaw-country staple Willie Nelson will release To All the Girls. . ., an album of 18 duets with female country and pop singers (including such legends as Dolly Parton, Mavis Staples and Alison Krauss). In the meantime, Rolling Stone is offering a pair of exclusive previews behind Nelson's new LP.
First, take a listen to "Walkin'," his breezy duet with jazz-pop siren Norah Jones. On the track, Nelson's signature drawl blends seamlessly with Jones' smoky croon over a bed of brushed drums, steel guitar and piano.
After that, check out an intimate interview with Jones, who reflects on her admiration for Nelson and the duo's collaborative process.
