"Romance," the first video from Wild Flag's excellent debut album, is the latest in a series of charming, funny clips directed by Best Show on WFMU host Tom Scharpling. The video starts off with the ladies of Wild Flag working very different gigs at a drab corporate office building. Before long, they're off driving around Portland in animal masks, causing all sorts of benign mischief. These bits are funny, but the most impressive part of the video is the live footage, which perfectly captures the rock and roll energy that makes them such a compelling live act.
