Wilco closed out their Solid Sound Festival at MASS MoCA in western Massachusetts yesterday by bringing out the Levon Helm Band for two songs, "I Shall Be Released" and "The Weight," the signature number of Helm's old group the Band. In this fan-shot video, you can watch the two bands join forces for the latter song. Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy sounds incredibly natural singing the tune, but maybe that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise – after all, the Band essentially created the template for Tweedy's band back in the Sixties.
