Recognizing EDM's powerful ability to unite the masses, Tiësto has teamed with the (RED) charity for the benefit compilation Dance (RED), Save Lives, to help fight AIDS in Africa. The compliation features Calvin Harris, Avicii, Diplo and U2's Bono. In conjunction with the release, Tiësto is also curating Australia's Stereosonic Festival for World AIDS Day on December 1st. You can watch live stream of the event beginning on November 30th at 11 p.m. EST. The eight-hour event will resume on December 1st at 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. EST; and December 2nd at 12:30 a.m., 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. EST.
Melbourne won't be alone in dancing against AIDS: New York, Los Angeles and Miami are also hosting parties in partnership with the Standard Hotel, and (RED) and Mashable have teamed to encourage people to start their own local dance parties in their communities. Landmarks across the globe, including the London Eye, the Sydney Opera House, the Soumaya Mountain, Cape Town's Table Mountain and the Empire State Building will also turn red on Worlds AIDS Day.
Tiësto's Dance (RED), Save Lives compilation is available now, with all proceeds benefitting charity. Visit JoinRED.com for more details.
