Although there are another 10 days to go before Depeche Mode release their first album in nearly four years, the influential synth-pop band will preview some of their new music tonight in their "Live on Letterman" performance.

Delta Machine is the band's follow-up to 2009's Sounds of the Universe, which found the group using analog synthesizers to "conjure up images of the universe and space travel." Today, the band announced a U.S. tour that will kick off August 22nd in Detroit and run through October 8th in Phoenix.
