Elton John
The legend on his first cover since 1976
Eric Helton

Elton John was last on the cover of 'Rolling Stone' in 1976 when he came out of the closet to journalist Cliff Jahr. "It's still the greatest music magazine out there," John said in this video of his cover shoot with photographer Mark Seliger. "I look forward to it every two weeks when it comes through my letter box...It's a huge honor to be on the cover again. I don't do many interviews, but I did this because I'm so excited about this new record with Leon Russell."
