Singer Daya had a breakthrough this year with her solo hit "Hide Away." In the song, the 18-year-old explores where all the good boys have possibly gone. Daya decided to solve that mystery while stopping by Rolling Stone along with a little help from YouTube.
Reading comments from the official video for "Hide Away," Daya discovers some possible answers to her question from the millions of viewers. One suggested that the good boys are all working at Game Stop and still live with their moms. "It might be accurate," Daya says in response.
Multiple commenters suggested that she may have left them in the "friend zone." Others offered up the restaurant chain Jimmy John's and the Upside Down from Stranger Things as some other locations for her to search. "You can find me in those places from now on," she says at the end. "Daya will be there."
This year, Daya released her debut album Sit Still, Look Pretty. She also appeared on the Chainsmokers' pre-"Closer" hit "Don't Let Me Down."
