The video for "Mondo Beyondo," the latest single from Brooklyn DJ and multi-instrumentalist Ursula 1000, is a perfect match for the song's blend of Sixties surf guitar and Nineties big beat electronica. Though elements of the past – a very mid-Sixties dancing girl, plenty of soul 45's – show up in the clip, it's very grounded in the present. "I wanted to approach the video in a not so retro way since the song already has a lot of that vibe running through," says Ursula 1000 mastermind Alex Gimeno.
