TV on the Radio Explore Evil Forces in 'Mercy' - Premiere
Surreal clip is part of new Myspace series

While they haven't officially announced plans for a new LP, art-rockers TV on the Radio have been active in recent months, debuting two new songs: the spacey ballad "Million Miles" and the propulsive rocker "Mercy."

As part of Myspace's new program, Music Video Collaborations With Artists We Like, the band worked with director Dawn Garcia on this electrifying clip for "Mercy." In it, Garcia blends an array of visual mediums (digital animation, stop-motion, miniature models and live action), creating a hallucinatory swirl of spinning planets, brooding cityscapes and anthropomorphic asteroids. Its intensity is a perfect companion for the song, which finds frontman Tunde Adebimpe crooning over turbulent drums and distortion.
