On this Hallow's Eve, 'Ye protégé Travis Scott presents the delirious visuals for "Shit on You," a booming freestyle interlude off his Owl Pharoah mixtape that sounds like Kid Cudi and Bon Iver waltzing through the Seventh Circle of Hell. Directed by Corey Damon Black and Marc Kalman, the clip finds Trav sloshing through a session gone horribly wrong, draped in the acid-washed filter of a bad trip.
"My biggest fear is failing to inspire and turning into a motherfucking monster," Travis Scott told Rolling Stone while he pieces together his next album (he's knocking around Fuego as a title). It's a legitimate concern: Trav's been wreaking havoc among industry elites for some time, clawing his way up the ranks after a brash decision to drop out of college and pursue music. The past 12 months have found the rapper/producer bouncing between T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint and Kanye's G.O.O.D Music, as well as collaborating with acts as disparate as Toro y Moi and Jay Z. But it's all part of his destiny; as he insists, "Rock stars aren't created, they're born."
