"I feel like I'm a basketball player, talking about 'I came away with a W,'" The Voice winner Javier Colon told Rolling Stone at the hit singing competition's season finale red carpet event. Everyone on the red carpet was singing Colon's praises, from his coach Adam Levine and country star Miranda Lambert to Train frontman Pat Monahan, who says the singer might be "the next Babyface." "I actually wasn't disappointed," says runner-up Dia Frampton. "I was the person backstage who, while Javier while singing with Stevie Nicks, was bawling. So I'm a fan."
Before the season finale, Rolling Stone caught up with each of the show's superstar judges to talk about their experience being part of The Voice's phenomonal first year. Christina Aguilera talked about how the show has impacted her own music, Cee Lo Green said he joined the show to reveal aspects of his personality that don't always come across in his stage persona, Blake Shelton explained that he was originally unsure of becoming part of the series and Adam Levine expressed his belief that the show has a magic that separates it from reality television.
