Black Simon and Garfunkel – you know, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel if they were black – made a brief appearance on last night's episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The duo, better known as Roots members ?uestlove and Captain Kirk Douglas, played a tremendously somber rendition of LMFAO's goofy summer hit "Party Rock Anthem." As it turns out, the song actually works pretty well as a gentle folk ballad and ?uestlove is surprisingly adept at approximating the real Garfunkel's high harmonies.
