The Kills
The duo opens up in 'Blood Pressures' documentary
May 3, 2011 2:55 PM
In this brief documentary, British-American electro-blues duo the Kills describe how they wrote and recorded their fourth album, Blood Pressures. Though the film offers a few good insights into their creative process, two bits are most compelling. The first has them stripping album highlights "Baby Says" and "The Last Goodbye" down to stark acoustic ballads, and the second is a touching moment when guitarist Jamie Hince speaks openly about his close relationship with singer Alison Mosshart. "She's my sister; I'd do anything for her," he says.
