"I turned on my phone at 7:30 in the morning and I get this message – Friday morning – saying, 'Please can you come over and do it? Rod's sick,'" Mick Hucknall says of why he was pulled in at the last minute to substitute for Rod Stewart at the Faces' induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

"He genuinely is ill," Ron Wood says of Stewart's condition. "That strep throat is a curse to the vocalist."
