Los Angeles trio Dime Store Novelist rocked their way through a 20-minute set at Rolling Stone's Rock Room day party yesterday at the SXSW festival. The blues-based band played a set drawing heavily on the tunes frontman Charles Rangel honed while working as a street performer.
