Talib Kweli
Performs 'Cold Rain' on 'Colbert'

Stephen Colbert continued his StePhest Colbchella '011 week of musical guests on The Colbert Report last night with an appearance by rapper Talib Kweli, who played "Cold Rain" from his latest album Gutter Rainbows. Before the performance, Kweli explained to Colbert that hip-hop is "more folk than folk" in the way it communicates with an audience in the popular vernacular and defended his song "Papers Please," which criticizes racial profiling and Arizona's proposed law demanding documentation from illegal Mexican immigrants.
