Superchunk Fill the 'Void' on 'Fallon'
Indie stalwarts hit 'Late Night' with 'I Hate Music' track

During the New York City stop on their current tour, Superchunk took a moment out to pay a visit to Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Friday. They played "Void," from their new album, I Hate Music, which was released on August 20th. In a web-only extra, the band also reached back to their 1994 album Foolish to revisit the song "Driveway to Driveway." Although bassist and co-founder Laura Balance is sitting out the tour in support of the new album because of a hearing issue, she joined the band for the Late Night appearance.

Superchunk play the second night of their NYC leg at the Bowery Ballroom tonight. In a post on the Merge Records website, the band notes that they'll also be shooting a new music video in Brooklyn today and have been looking for fans to serve as extras in a crowd scene.
