Sleigh Bells Announce New Album 'Bitter Rivals'
Watch the video for the title track now

New York noise-pop duo Sleigh Bells have announced the release of their third LP, Bitter Rivals, due out October 8th on Mom + Pop. The band has paired the announcement with the video for the title track, which finds the two in typical Sleigh Bells form.

The Hottest Live Photos of 2013: Sleigh Bells

The clip starts off innocently enough: some simple guitar, shoulder shaking, snapping and cooing from singer Alexis Krauss, that launches into the raucous, shredding rock the group is known for. Guitarist Derek Miller rocks out in an LSU jersey while Krauss showcases her boxing skills in a leopard print silk robe while instructing listeners to "be not afraid." The video shifts during the songs chorus, as Krauss' tough girl antics are replaced with softer notes as she declares "You are my bitter rival, but I need you for survival."

Bitter Rivals is the follow-up to 2012's Reign of Terror, which landed the duo a high-profile performance on Saturday Night Live and peaked at # 12 on the Billboard 200. Sleigh Bells' fall tour kicks off on October 4th in Pittsburgh, Pa. with Danny Brown and Doldrums supporting.
