Skrillex is setting up for a busy 2013: Yesterday the producer dropped a new video for "Summit" (below), his collaboration with Ellie Goulding, and today he's sharing a surprise three-song EP called Leaving. Just under 13 minutes, Leaving popped up on OWSLA's subscription service the Nest, though Skrillex also put the whole EP up on YouTube.

In a statement, he said said that while the cut "Scary Bolly Dub" has been a part of his DJ sets for a while, the EP's title track and opener "The Reason" – a dancefloor bumper with a delicate synth hook, which you can check out above – came together at the last minute: "I made 'Leaving' in my hotel room in Mexico and just finished 'The Reason' an hour ago in my hotel room in Miami. I guess it’s just kind of a reflection of how I’m feeling right now."
