Lights flashed red and white as Queens of the Stone Age played the outdoor stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The band played songs off new album . . . Like Clockwork, including "My God is the Sun," which included a projection of the song's trippy music video

The band continued the performance with "Sat by the Ocean," which showcased funky guitar as the band played under blue lights while the crowd swayed. The performance was as dynamic as the album, with frontman Josh Homme channeling dark and angsty influences like David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust one moment, and then shifting to more mainstream-friendly hooks. . . . Like Clockwork was released on June 4th.
