Last week, the indie-rock twin sisters Tegan and Sara dropped their shimmering new dance-pop track "Closer" – and now, you can check out its appropriately vibrant lyric video. "Closer" will appear on Tegan and Sara's next, as-yet-untitled release that is slated for January; the pair is also set to hit the road with the Black Keys in October and the Killers in November and December.

"Although I do imagine that this would be an okay song to make out to," Tegan Quin told Rolling Stone about the track, "all I intended was to write something sweet that reminded the listener of a time before sex, complicated relationships, drama and heartbreak."
