For her cover of the Broken Bells' hit "The High Road," Joss Stone appropriately hits the open road to film a scenic lyric video fit for a vintage road-trip flick. Though she was unfamiliar with the song at first listen, Stone decided to record the track with her trademark soulful slant for her upcoming disc The Soul Sessions, Vol. 2, out July 31st. "When listening to possible tracks for the album, Steve Greenberg played it to me and I thought it sounded good," she explains to Rolling Stone. "I'd never heard the song before this and thought I'd give it a try, with a bit of a twist!"
